Beth's POV

After being reminded for the 3rd time this morning what happened last night, it was 4 PM before I was able to start getting ready. I was supposed to meet Clayton's parents in 2 hours and I still had nothing to wear. Not to mention he wanted to go shopping earlier and we hadn't even left the bedroom.

"Beth, come here." He called from another room. I quickly walked into the spare room he was in and was astonished as he pushed open a closet full of beautiful dresses. I gaped as I walked in and looked over them, my eyes immediately finding a light blue one that went to a bright white as it went lower and thought of some gladiator sandals, I had that would go perfectly with it. The dress was a one shoulder high low dress and was simple to say the least in design. It had a zipper in the back and was silky to the touch, but flowy at the same time. I made a bee line towards the dress and took it into our room without saying a word to Clayton. He just laughed and had the biggest " I am soooo good" smirk on his face.

I slipped on the dress and smiled at my reflection in the mirror.

"Clay! Can you please zip me up, and do you know where.." I was cut off as he came up behind me and zipped up my dress. He opened a box a moment later that had my shoes and some other items thrown in and I beamed at him.

"You are telepathic I swear." I tell him as I pull out the silver gladiator sandals that were one of my favorites to wear.

"No, just observant and you were thinking loudly." He tells me with a kiss on my temple.

"Sorry, I am not used to having an open link to anyone other than family, and they all think loudly. It's been very quiet up here." I say as I tap my temple.

He chuckles and then disappears into the closet and I go start my makeup and hair. I decided on natural tones and curled my hair loosely. I was ready to go 15 minutes early and that gave us time to get to the restaurant and wait for his parents. We would do shopping and meet pack tomorrow.

We walked out to the Jeep and I got in with a little hop. This was my first glance around the town as well as meeting some more pack members. I fiddled with my dress and hands nervously as we pulled out of the drive and began the short drive to the restaurant. The streets were paved with blocks rather than black top and the lamp posts were decorative and black. It reminded me of small towns you would see in English themed movies. The restaurant was beautiful, tall windows to let in lots of natural light, but elegant as well. Everyone was a little dressed up and I loved seeing the variety.

Once we parked, Clayton opened my door for me, then took my hands in his gently and had me face him. When I didn't look at him, he tilted my face to his and gave me a gentle kiss.

"Honey relax, everything will be fine. I promise they will love you, and you look absolutely stunning tonight, just like always." I blushed and hugged him tight, drinking in his intoxicating scent to calm myself.

The restaurant was huge inside. There was a bright flashing neon sign that read "Carters" on it and judging by the line of people it looked like a great place. I could smell delicious food coming from inside and my mouth began to water.

"Thanks honey, I just want to make a good first impression." I took another deep breath as we began to walk inside. I could feel the stares starting already, but the smell of fresh baked bread was calling to me, and my stomach answered with a loud rumble.

"Alpha, it is a pleasure to have you here tonight, you as well Luna, an honor to meet the one who finally captured our Alpha's heart. Will your parents be joining you as well sir?" The man at the door asked us.
