Beth's POV

I woke up early, careful not to wake up Clayton and slid out the door heading down stairs to make breakfast. No one else was awake and after last night I was still a little dazed, he hadn't marked me but I was wishing he did, I could still feel a tingle where he kissed my neck. I decided to make some eggs, bacon, and pancakes, I also made some muffins and before I knew it I had enough food to feed an entire army, or more so, a pack of hungry werewolves. Minnie was first down the stairs as she is a food junkie and can smell it cooking a mile away.

"Beth did you make all this?!" Minnie shrieked as she grabbed a plate helping herself. She piled it high with eggs, bacon, toast, a muffin, and held the edge of a cup of orange juice in her teeth as she made her way to the bar.

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep after something that happened last night and I felt like cooking. I guess I went a little overboard." She took a bite out of a blueberry muffin and her eyes practically popped out of her head.

"HOLY CRAP YOU HAVE TO MAKE EVERY MEAL! Remind me to get you in whatever mood you are in more often!" She said around a mouthful of food.

"Angry?" I mumbled as I grabbed a plate, getting myself a couple pancakes and some bacon.

I blushed and a few more people came down for breakfast. They commented on the food and started stuffing their faces and I started cooking more. I liked feeling this good, knowing people liked what I was making. Casual conversation between the two packs were happening, but every time someone took a bite of something new on their plates, they would comment and start talking about how great the food was again. Clayton and his crew came down soon after inhaling deeply the smell of the food I made and I was relaxing against the counter waiting for the kettle to boil. A hot cup of tea sounded amazing right now and my tummy was full.

They started serving themselves some plates and their reactions were just as good as everyone else. After each bite, I could hear a stifled groan and a mumble of what I assumed was supposed to be "oh my god this is really good," but really sounded like " mmmm hummmy memmmmry gooooof"

"Who made this?" Clayton asked as he swallowed a bite of fried ham and eggs. Minnie jumped up and ran over, slinging an arm over my shoulder as she beamed brightly.

"Little miss Beth here is a secret chef, whatever happened last night has to happen more often. Upset/frazzled/angry/dazed, Beth = well fed pack." Everyone started laughing when Clayton and his crew started bowing to me calling me the master of all things food. I blushed bright red and was too caught up in trying to get them to stop that I didn't even see Damon come downstairs.

He had gathered food onto his plate and grabbed a second one for who could only be Melissa. He quickly ate his and was about to take the second plate upstairs when he stopped, looked back down at the plate and looked around. His eyes glistened as he thoroughly enjoyed what he ate.

"Who made this?" He asked so quietly that everyone stopped and starred at him, as if they weren't sure they heard him right.

"Who. Made. This?" He asked again louder, looking around to see if anyone was going to fess up. I slowly stepped behind Clayton not sure if I was in trouble or not. Minnie spoke up though, I could have strangled her.

"Beth did sir, isn't it fantastic? I mean everyone here can't stop buzzing about it!" She was so cheerful she didn't notice his eyes darkening. Clayton kept me behind him protectively as Damon set the plate down on the counter grabbed a bowl, some cereal and milk and stormed up the stairs angrily. He came back down seconds later, grabbed a spoon and slammed the drawer shut then stomped back up the stairs. Seconds later we heard the door to his bedroom slam shut as well.
