Chapter 36 His Only Guardian

I've been Iruka's assistant for a few weeks now. Katsuo and his family left after staying a week. I told them that I would visit when I can...But visiting will probably never be possible.

Much has happened in these last three weeks. Two days after the almost attack I was doing Sasuke's hair. There were a lot of split ends so I decided to trim and layer his hair. We were sitting in the outside halls facing the garden when an Anbu appeared before us.

"Uzumaki-san, Hokage-sama has requested your presence."

"Okay. I'll be back." I shushined to her office door and knocked before slamming the door open,"Baachan!" I yelled at her sitting form at her desk. No one else was in the office, with the exception of her Anbu-bu guards.

"Hello, Naruto."

"Hi. What did you need." I asked as I closed the door. I felt a small burst of chakra. She activated the privacy seals... "Baachan, What happened?" I asked a tad frightful.

"Naruto, I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry!? What did I do?"

"You have done nothing wrong, Naruto."

"Then why are you scaring me like this?"

"Just let me explain...I had another talk with the elders. Since you were missing ,and they don't want you to go missing again, they came to the agreement that you are to have no access beyond village territory."

I gave a stony smirk,"They want to keep their caged weapon in another cage, do they?"

"Narut-"

"You have yourself a nice day." I shushined back to the house and continued to trim Sasuke's hair. I hadn't been able to figure out why Sasuke doesn't mind my presence every hour of the day but I find it easier to not dwell on it. I tried to lose myself in my activities but what Tsunade said still lingered in my mind.

Since I was pronounced dead they cleared out my apartment and put it on market. But no one was willing to buy it. I didn't really want to go back to that cramped apartment so I just got permission to go back and collect what was left sealed in the walls.

I've been staying with Sasuke at his house like I was before I left because the house is nice and convenient...and also because Sasuke seems to be clingy. He always wants to know what I'm doing and wants to go where I go. I see the distaste on his face whenever he hurriedly says things that would seem clingy. What I accidentally did to Sasuke has messed up his personality and thoughts.

I got rid of that weird hallucination he was having but I don't know how to reverse the damage. I know it really bothers Sasuke since he seems to have two separate personalities are mixed inside him and confusing him. But I've helped him as much as I can and have searched his mind for anything that I can fix numerous times.

The party I had with everyone was alright. I got caught up with everyone. They were really confused with what happened and I told them I was just confused as they were and we all laughed it off...Kakashi isn't alright. He only has one student left, me. Kakashi, all the rookie genin, and Sakura's family are all messed up now because of me. I'm really wishing that I hadn't joined Akatsuki. If I hadn't been so stupid and fan crazy I would have realized that what I was doing was idiotic and was going to bite me in the ass later.
