Chapter 29 Poor Dog Boy

I awoke to Katsu's sleeping, angelic face. I had awoke from my slumber because I was kicked in the stomach...Katsuo had done that in his sleep. Itaaa....He's too cute to be mad at though. I smiled and sat up, stretching. "Ohayo, Shounou." Emiko smiled at me and quietly walked to the kitchen, careful to not wake up Katsu.

"Ohayo." I got up and followed her into the kitchen. She was helping to prepare breakfast with Uncle Tadao.

"...Could me and Katsu explore the town after breakfast for the whole day?"

She put her hands on her hips and raised an eyebrow,"You didn't even keep your promise to come home on time. Why should I let you two go out again?" she folded her arms, taunting me in a childish way.

"Please, Emi. I still have so much I want to show Katsu." That was a lie. I had no idea what we were going to do. I just wanted to have fun with him,"Please? I can't sit for long in this house, no offence Uncle but there just ain't much to do here."

"Shounou! We came here to visit Tadao and help him unpack and get settled, not to goof off."

My eyes widened Whoa! Mama getting mad! Child, why must you anger your elders so much? I don't know! It just happens...a lot.

"Emiko, it's fine. Let them go out. I needed some shopping done anyways." He handed me a list,"Get all those things for me and for the rest of the day you and Katsuo can do whatever." I looked down on the list

Uncle Tadao's POV

I watched him run out of the kitchen screaming at Katuso,"W-what was that! Hahahaha!" I cackled holding my stomach and clutching the counter for support. When I gained back control of my breathing I asked,"Why does he like mackerel so much? Oh my kami that was funny as hell!"

"Heh! I don't know! That kid is just weird."

"Wait, Shounou!"

"Yeah, what! Come on Katsu slow up!" he tugged his pants up giving him a wedgie. He squeaked and fell to the floor.

I held back a snort,"You want me to make mackerel tonight?"

"Hell yeah!"

"Come and eat breakfast first so you can leave."

"Come on, Katsu!" he picked him up and dragged him to the kitchen.

"What's with all the noise?" Isamu came walking down the stairs. Probably a little pissed because he was awoken from his precious beauty sleep.

"Nothing. Come and eat." I smiled and followed Shounou into the kitchen.

We finished eating and Shounou and Katsu were immediately out the door after saying their see you laters.
