"54. 55. 56." I  rested my hand holding my money on my knee. He's dead... I glanced at the origami dog on my nightstand. Where did I put the rest of them? I remember I was going to unfold them later. I set down my stack of money and got off my bed. I rustled through a few drawers until I found them. I took out the small box I put them in and set it on my nightstand. I removed all the origami animals from the box and placed them the nightstand with the dog. I sat on my bed and picked up the stack of money to continue counting,"...What number was I on? Dammit, I have to start over. 1. 2. 3..."

I gazed up at the scroll painting that hung above my altar...Knowing that I wouldn't get another piece of art like it. In my hand I held a small note book full of all my ideas of what he could have painted for me. I placed it on the altar,"I'm sorry your stuck with my pathetic notebook...If I had his sketch book I would put it here instead. I wish. I wish he were still here. He may have not wanted to convert but he still respected you and loved watching me perform a ritual...It makes me sad knowing that I won't be able to preform another ritual for him again. I won't give him another lesson or pray with him...And I'll never again see that huge grin he gives me when he get's splattered in the blood of a sacrifice."

I pulled my pendant over my head and held it in my hand Since I only have one pendent we would both pray with it together... I kissed it twice. Once for me and once for him. I then started to pray.

I sat in my reading chair holding the genjutsu textbook I had given to Naruto. He had placed it on the bookshelf since he had already taken notes about several jutsus he wanted to try out. He had put several book marks in the pages. I opened the book to one of them and found a note about a genjutsu he tried.

I closed the textbook and put it back on the bookshelf. I closed my eyes and pulled a finger across my eye lids. I do not know why you knew the future that was still not known...But what I do know is that the future that you knew and told me about will be changed.
