Chapter 3 Bell test

I woke up refreshed. Opening the window, I let in the beautiful songs of the birds and the warm and comforting rays of the sun. Getting out of bed to stretch I rembered....I had the bell test. I let out my loudest and most blood curdling scream, I even added chakra to my vocal cords to make it even louder. Hopefully I scared a few children and elderly. I hate that stupid bell test. I'm not going to be able to do anything with wanna be lone wolf Sasuke and fangirl Sakura. I checked the time 8:34. I'll have 2 clones start breakfast while I get ready.

After getting dressed and packing my ninja gear I ate the wonderful meal my clones had prepared, rice and fish. Eh I'll probably have to eat less so I become hungry during lunchtime and we don't fail the test. I walked towards my destination hoping I would bump into Kakashi. Seeing a peak of silver gravity defying hair I knew I found him. I rushed at him hugging him from behind,

"Kakashi!" he looked behind his shoulder at me.

"Naruto, why are you hugging me?"

"Why, can I not?"

"..." He looked at me like the answer was obvious.

"Fine! I won't hug you COLD BLOODED KAKASHI!" I yelled ripping my arms away from him. "I'll just go hug Tenzo after the test since he LOVES my hugs unlike you." I started walking, but I noticed he wasn't following. "Come on Kakashi we don't got all day."

"You know Tenzo?" Dammit he's suspicious of me again.

"Well, yeah. You are his senpai after all and Tenzo is someone who I have associated with lately. We can walk while we talk." I grabbed his wrist and started walking.

"You don't have to drag me."

"Okay...but you have to keep walking."

 And we kept walking and talking about things once in a while.

 "Morning everyone, ready for your first day?"

"YOU'RE LATE!!!" Then Banshee shrieked.

"A black cat crossed our path and Kakashi insisted that we take the long way." I said smiling sheepishly.

Kakashi set the timer and explained the test.

"When I say start you can begin. Get ready, and start." Sakura and Sasuke hid while I just stood there. "Naruto, you're suppose to hide." Kakashi said with a sweat drop.

"I think I understand the true purpose of this exam, but I don't have teammates that like me, and they probably want me to go back to the academy. So I am officially screwed."

"What do you think this exam is about, Naruto?"

"Teamwork obviously. We were put in 3 man squads and were meant to stay this way, you only have 2 bells so that foolish Genin will turn against each other, which Sasuke and Sakura already have towards me. If this were a real mission and my teammates were to have acted the same way the mission would have been a failure and we would have all been dead."

Kakashi stayed silent, probably impressed which I'm hoping he is.

"But I'm still going to have to put up a fight and try to team up with them so that they learn teamwork. Ugh, this is just going to be a waste of time because I already know Sasuke thinks he's better than everyone and Sakura only thinks about Sasuke, which is really stupid because she could be a great kunoichi if she was actually serious about it." Kakashi just stared at me so I thought this was a Genjutsu and started looking at the surroundings for any differences but found none. So I did the only thing I could think of,

"Why are you trying to take off my headband?" my hand that way trying to lift it up froze.

"What's the hand sign for releasing a Genjutsu?"
