My father let me stay with Gaara for two more days...Those days are up.
I'm currently packing my belongings. Where is I looked around and saw what I was looking for. My jacket was in Gaara's hand. I took it from him and put it on.
"Did you forget anything else?" he asked as I zipped it up.
"...No." he glanced at my bag with a forlorn expression,"I'll visit again."
"But I don't want you to." he muttered,"...I want you to stay."
"I want to stay as well...But I can't Gaara." What can I do to make him feel better?...,"Your sand." I took out an empty sealing scroll,"If you give me some we'll be able to communicate just like with Naruto. I will take the sand out every night when I'm at home and not on a mission."
He frowned and shifted his feet,"...But what if it's something urgent that can't wait till night time." he was staring at the ground.
"...What if I had a small amount of your sand out at all times. You could control it and signal that you wish to speak with me."
His eyes lit up and he walked to his dresser. After rummaging in a drawer for a bit before he closed it and held his hand out to me. He held a necklace with a bottle charm. I took it from him and he opened his gourd. After spilling a good amount of sand on the ground I opened the small bottle and scooped some sand into it. I sealed the rest of the sand in my empty sealing scroll.
"Test it out." he concentrated on the sand. I felt it jumping in the bottle. Gaara took it from my hands and tied it around my neck. I wrapped my arms around his waist. He stood still, his arms around my neck holding the knot he made at the back of the necklace. He slowly wrapped his arms tighter around me and he fell into my embrace.
His head resting on my chest, listening to my heart beat. My chin resting slightly on his head, his hair prickling my lips as he shifted closer. We stood holding each other and feeling the warmth radiating from our bodies. Only hearing each others breathing if felt as if time had stopped letting us have a moment in silence.
We pulled back and I grabbed my bag. He stepped in front of me and unzipped the collar of my jacket. He pulled the necklace inside my jacket and zipped it back up. We walked down the stairs and out the front door. My father was waiting for us. All three of us walked to the front of the village. The guards glanced our way and smirked, but once they saw Gaara the smirk was gone and their faces were a bit pale.
"...Passport." one of the guards held his hand out and tried not to glance at Gaara. We both took out ours and he quickly checked them. He gave them back and stood against the wall, fighting and staring at the ground. All the other guards were uneasy but not as much as him.
I turned back to Gaara,"See you later."
"...See you." I turned away and started walking out...But Gaara's hand on my sleeve stopped me. I turned back around,"...Be safe. Shino."
"Will do." he let go and I walked out the entrance of the village and into the endless desert.

We walked through the large gates and father signed our names on the gate watchers chart. After going home and dropping off my things I went to meet up with them.
~~~
"Alright, today we are doing strength traini-"
"...K-Kurenai-sensei?" Hinata
She looked towards me,"Shino." I jumped out of the tree I was perched in and approached them.
"S-Shino-kun." Hinata said in surprise.
