Zoey & Kelly's Apartment, Bucktown Chicago

The moment the front door shut the sound startled Jay awake from the couch. Zoey let out a small giggle looking in his direction causing his eyes to meet hers. "Morning beautiful," the muscular brunette said in a raspy sexy morning voice causing the blonde's heart to skip a beat. How did this man in such a short time manage to have her so hooked on him? It honestly scared her in a way how they connected so well, how well he understood her, He understood how hard the job was especially between serving overseas and what he'd seen as a detective in Chicago's most elite task force. Jay saw a lot of just as awful things Zoey had.

"Morning," Zoey said softly walking over and taking a seat next to the man who sat up stretching, flexing his muscles in the process. "Like what you see?" Jay asks noticing the blonde checking him out. "A little bit," Zoey replied with a smirk. "Only a little? ouch," Jay replies mock hurt as he held his chest with a smirk. "I mean, I think you'd look better with me on you. But maybe that's just my opinion" The blonde said with a devilish smirk.

Within a moment Jay's lips crashed on hers as they began making out again until the sound of her phone rang. Zoey sighed reaching over to the coffee table and answering the device as the muscular detective softly placed kisses along her neck. "SSA Severide," she said into the line as she could feel Jay's soft breath on her neck. "Hey Superwoman, how's windy city treating you? and lover boy," Morgan asks through the phone. "It's going great, and Jay's great too" Zoey's breath hitched a little as the detective began sucking on her sweet spot at the base of her neck. Earning an unimpressed look from Zoey.

The sound caused Jay to smirk, as Morgan let out a slight laugh. "Well I hate to be the one to ruin your moment but you gotta say goodbye to lover boy. We got a case" Morgan said through the line. "But we're supposed to be off for the next 2 days..." Zoey groaned not wanting to leave this moment. "I know superwoman but lover boy will be there when you get back. And it sounded pretty important," Morgan said as his tone went serious. "Okay, well I never got a chance to unpack so, I'll head over to the airport now. I'll be back in 3 hours at most," Zoey said through the line. "Wanna tell Hotch I'll meet you at the jet and I'll get caught up to speed on the flight," Zoey said through the line. "Okay sounds good," Morgan replied as the blonde disconnected the line looking at Jay.

"I gotta go, but we..." Zoey say flipping them so she was now straddling him. "Are gonna settle this later," she purred in his ear softly as she stood up biting her lip seductively at the detective. "I couldn't agree more," Jay said standing up as he pressed his lips to hers softly. Their lips moved in sync for a moment before Zoey broke the kiss. "I really do have to go," she said sadly as she took the shirt off handing it to Jay as she made her way over to her room throwing her clothes on in less than a minute.

The blonde grabbed her badge and gun placing them on her waist not bothering to fix her hair, change or shower. She sprayed herself with some perfume watching as Jay put his pants back on fastening his belt. "Do you need a lift to O'Hare?" the muscular detective asks glancing at the blonde. "If it wouldn't be too much trouble" she replied as Jay nodded to the door. "Never, plus I'll take as much time with you as I can get with you before you're called back to work," he replied. The comment took Zoey aback a bit but she smiled shyly at his words. Jack would never make as much effort as to get off the couch let alone drive her to the airport for work, or go for drinks all he wanted to do was lay on the couch watching sports, playing video games and drinking until he passed out.

As Zoey and Jay went to leave the apartment the blonde pulled out her phone going to call her brother when she walked into him in the doorway of the building. Kelly paused outside the door as she hung up the call. "Hey, I was just calling you," she said, "What's up?" he asks instantly noticing his sister's work bag draped over her shoulder and her gun on her hip. "I gonna go..." she said softly closing her eyes at the words. Kelly knew she hated coming home just to leave anywhere from an hour after to a couple of days after she just came home. He was just happy that she still came home to see him when she could, especially with her insane job. "Hey, I'll be here when you get back okay? Go kick ass and save people Zo" Kelly said as he pulled her into a quick hug. "Ew your sweaty," she said letting him go and making a face of disgust as he just laughed. "Yea, it tends to happen after a 5-mile run," her brother remarked with a laugh. "I'll text you when I'm back in Virginia, Love you, Kells," Zoey said to her brother as she and Jay walked out front looking around for his truck.

"We left it at Molly's remember?" Zoey told the detective who was just ask confused for a moment as the two began speed walking down the road back towards the bar. "So I was thinking, Maybe I could fly out to Virginia some time. To come visit you" Jay said as the two finally got to his truck outside the bar. Zoey paused again taken aback by the effort he was putting in. Jack would've just bitched at her to quit her job so she could take care of him all day. "Um, If you wanted sure," The blonde said unsure of what to tell him as they climbed into his truck. Then again, it would be a good test in a way to see how serious he was. If they could really make a relationship even work with her job.

Zoey opened her duffle bag and pulled out her wallet as Jay's truck came to a stop in the carpool lane of O'Hare. She pulled out the spare hotel key she never used, "I'm staying at the Marriott, room 602. If you wanna settle some scores from earlier." Zoey said with a smirk handing him the key card as she leaned in kissing the detective's cheek before hopping out of the truck and walking into the airport.
