Tanpa Florida

As the team began investigating the case Rossi realized they were looking for an adaptive satanist, A typical serial killer, rationalizing their fantasies by blaming them on outside forces. This serial killer was unlike any Severide had ever seen in all her years working for the FBI. The unsub they were looking for was truly evil to their core. The unsub would cut off all 10 of their victim's fingers and force feed them to eat each one, but the worst part was most of the fingers the unsub fed his victim wasn't their own meaning he'd been doing this for a while.

The entire case made Severide uneasy as she stared at the photo of the dead woman that brought the team out there in the first place. Half her body had been torn apart by alligators but from what her autopsy read the woman was tortured until her last dying breath. Zoey's eyes began to water looking at the photo, who could do such a horrible thing? The blonde knew her hormones were what was making her so emotional, especially from what Shay mentioned about one of her Ex's girlfriends.

Severide let out a shaky breath still focused on the crime scene photo and she wondered how the hell she and Jay would be able to protect their child from people like this. The sound of her phone pulled her from her thoughts as she pulled out the device pressing answer. "SSA, Severide," she said into the line still looking at the photos in front of her along with 10 other women the unsub killed by Identifying the fingers found in their victim's stomach.

"So you are alive," her brother said through the line, "Yea, just been working" Zoey replied through the line with a shaky voice she tried to hide as her mind thought about the torture he put this woman through. "Zo, you okay?" her brother asked through the line clearly worried by the tone in his sister's voice.

The blonde took a deep breath and cleared her throat, "Yea just working a rough case, I'm alright" she lied as Morgan walked in the room with a pace that screamed he had an update. "Look I gotta go Kell's. I'll call you when the case wraps up. I love you." she didn't wait for an answer before she hung up as Morgan walked over. "You good?" he asks as the blonde just nods her head yes. "Well we just got another report of a missing woman fitting our unsub's victimology," Morgan said sadly before she followed her partner to meet with the team who were setting up search parties.

Severide started walking out the door when Morgan stopped her, "Maybe you should sit this one out," he said causing the blonde to scoff and walk past him. "Try and stop me, I can sit around and do nothing but think about what this prick is doing to these women Morgan," she said walking out of the police station. Morgan followed with her as they climbed into one of their SUVs and drove off towards where the search party was.

As the day went on the search party didn't have any luck in finding their most recent missing persons; a little after lunch the team noticed a man freaking out at one of the officers and that's when they'd been alerted that the unsub managed to abduct one of the woman in their search party in broad daylight without anyone noticing.

Everyone went back to the police station a bit shaken up about how bold this unsub had become especially with so many FBI agents and Uniforms around. Garcia called shortly after their return to inform the team that her search of institutionalized patients in Florida came up empty. Dave was certain the unsub was institutionalized asking her to widen her search the patient would stick out. Even if she had to comb through Juvie records.

By the end of the day, the team had been notified that the woman had turned up in a church with the same emo and victimology. This unsub was starting to get on the team's nerves especially since he was taunting them. The team had been here for almost 3 days now and all they managed to do was antagonize the unsub to start killing to taunt them basically telling them that they can't stop him.

Severide sat in the meeting room where all the evidence the team had was on boards around her when the team came back in some returning from the crime scene and probably the fastest autopsy the agent ever saw. "The Emmy confirmed my theory. Our unsub is freezing and eating his victims which is how he's managed to keep so many victims over a period of time," Hotch said. "Are you serious? our unsub's a cannibal?" Severide asked in disgust as her stomach started to turn at the thought. "I mean it would explain why he fed his victim's fingers, he was trying to tell us not only has he killed before that's just a part of it. I'm eating them too was the other," Rossi said and with those words, Severide's stomach did a 180 and she bolted towards the bathroom of the police station before she could throw up everything she ate today which wasn't much.

The whole case had her stomach in knots since the moment they flew into Tampa. Severide returned back to the meeting room earning a look when she returned without a word. By the time she got back Garcia was on the phone with the team telling them about a 7-year-old that got institutionalized because he tried to bite the flesh off his 9-month-old sister; he'd only been released due to the fact he'd become an adult. The team got the address from Garcia and immediately took off to the location after gearing up in vests.

The team arrived in less than 10 minutes entering the house as they swept it together in teams. Morgan and Severide cleared upstairs before making their way into a basement. She paused by a door as Morgan nodded at her and she pulled the door open and he walked in followed by her. The two froze as they stepped into the large freezer that held at least 10 fully frozen women that still had their eyes open. "Fucking hell," Severide sputtered at the site looking around for the missing woman from the search party but came up short. The team found another woman who was held captive luckily she was still alive but the trauma she'd lived with. Their unsub was sitting in a room filled with photos of people eating flesh, but there was no sign of the missing woman from the search party.

The team went back to the station along with their Unsub, Severide hadn't bothered to remember this sicko's name. She didn't want to, she stood behind the two-way mirror with her arms folded just glaring at him while Morgan interrogated him on the missing woman.

The man stayed eerily quiet only cracking a smirk or laugh at something Morgan said which just pissed the agent off more than he was just running him in circles. That's when Severide discovered that he was signed up at the search party but not as one of the people searching. He was serving the food volunteers had brought to feed everyone searching.

Everyone including the team, "Hotch," Severide said as pale as a ghost before informing him of her discoveries; before walking out of the room to call her OBGYN.
