The Marriot, Quantico Virginia

As usual Severide's time home flew by so fast and the next thing she knew she was back to the day in and day out of profiling. Zoey loved her job but, just wondered if having a normal life could ever be possible in this line of work.

Zoey woke up to the sound of her alarm earning a groan from the blonde who rolled over and turned the annoying noise off. The blonde groaned rolling out of the bed before she got dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, and a plain white shirt and grabbed the pair of ray bands she stole from Jay when they visited a few months ago.

Severide gathered her bag and put her badge and gun on her hip before she swiftly exited her room heading to the parking garage. As the blonde walked across the parking garage towards her Camaro she paused noticing an envelope on her windshield. She furrowed her brows looking around before she took the envelope and climbed into her car. She looked at the unmarked envelope same as all the others she received months ago. Maybe it's time to tell the team, I doubt it's some prank. Plus the notes seem like they're taunting her.

Zoey sighed before pulling the letter open revealing a familiar photo of a bomb scene that went of in Chicago years ago around the time Zoey first started in the FBI. The blonde flipped it over to find the same handwriting from the notes, 'Round 2, are you ready? Because I am'

Severide dropped the photo back into the envelope stuffing it in her bag before she sped off towards the office calling Morgan's number on the way. "Hey superwoman-Morgan I need you to get the team together I'll be there in 10 minutes," was all Zoey said as she began spending towards the office.

FBI Academy, Quantico Virginia

It didn't take Severide long to arrive in the parking garage where another blank envelope was taped to her parking sign. The blonde climbed out of the car walking over and ripping the letter off the wall before she jogged towards the elevator with her go bag over her shoulder. The moment the elevator doors slide open the blonde almost sprinted through the double doors and straight to the meeting room where the team was waiting, confused.

"Severide what's going on?" Hotch asked as the blonde stopped a bit winded from her run as she pulled open the bag and began pulling out letters. "He's back the Bucktown bomber is back," Zoey said as she set the note out. The team was confused, The bomber we tried to catch in Chicago?" Morgan asked confused but sat up looking at the letters. "What makes you think that?" Rossi asked.

Severide took a breath before speaking, "So over the last, I don't know 4 months I started getting these, then they just randomly stopped until this morning. when I found this on my car," the blonde said placing the envelope on the table with the photo of the bomb that went off almost 3 years ago, Reid picked up the photo reading the back.

"Round 2, are you ready? because I am" Reid said as the room got quiet, "I found this one on the way up here," Severide said setting a blank unopened envelope on the table. Hotch was the one that picked it up and opened it pulling out another note.

"In love and war, mass casualties always happen," Hotch said reading the blank paper as a small map fell out. Zoey picked it up and notice a circle over Bucktown, "catch me if you can" Severide said with a sigh as Reid took the map. "Okay JJ, contact the local authorities let them know we're on our way and inform them of the possible bomb threat, wheels up in 10 everyone," Hotch said as the team all exited the room along with Severide.

21st District, Chicago Police Department

The flight to Chicago took the team an hour due to how fast the jet was, and it wasn't long before the team was on their way to the familiar police station. The agents made their way into the station being treated by sergeant Platt who instantly lead the team upstairs and into the intelligence unit.

"Sergent Voight, nice to see you again. Sorry about the circumstances though," Hotch said walking over and shaking the older man's hand, "Agent, You said on the phone that we have a bomb threat?" Voight asked the BAU unit chief. "Yes, we have reason to believe a serial bomber is back in the city," Rossi said catching the detective's attention as Severide walked over to Jay embracing him in a hug. "Hey beautiful," he says softly kissing the top of her head. Zoey smiled as she leaned on his desk in front of him.

The motion caused the detective to frown standing up before getting her to take his seat. "What makes you think we have a serial bomber when there's been no explosions?" Antonio asked from his desk confused. "Because the bombers been sending us letters," Severide said earning a look from everyone and a look from her team. "Sorry. I've been receiving letters" she said correcting herself as JJ handed the sergeant a file containing photos of everything in the letters. "Alright Halstead, Dawson want to go inform CFD?" Voight said, "I'll go with you, might be better coming from me since I was there when most of them were called to the last incident with this guy," Severide said. "Alright, Halstead and Severide go inform the CFD on the situation. So they can be alert on their calls of any suspicious activity.

Jay and Zoey nodded as she dropped her bag on his desk before they both started walking down the stairs and out of the building walking over to his truck. "So were you gonna mention at some point in time that you've been getting letters from a serial bomber?" she could hear the anger and hurt in his voice as they both climbed in the truck. "I didn't know it was a bomber until this morning, believe it or not, that's the truth," She said sighing not wanting to have an argument with the detective. "I really don't believe that, you start getting notes and don't think it's at least a little strange?" Jay asked in disbelief as he started driving toward firehouse 51.

"I thought it was a stupid prank war between my brother and the firehouse and maybe someone just went a little too far, then the letters just stopped appearing until this morning when I got 2," Severide said trying to explain. "Where did you find the letters anyways?" Jay asked as his truck pulled up to the station. "My apartment, my hotel, my car twice and my parking spot at work," Zoey said flatly as she climbed out of the truck and began walking across the house towards the giant open bay doors of the firehouse.
