The Cult of X

"They're coming now Xeno!" Tails Doll cheered which only aggravated me more. I changed back into phase regular, so I didn't spook my friends more.

"Perfect. Why don't you tell them to fuck off, hmm?" I snapped, surprising a few of my friends. They've never seen my curse, ever.

"You know it won't work~ They'll only come faster!" Tails Doll teased.

I sighed, wiping my face with my hands. I went to turn on the lights, since we're probably not finishing the movie anytime soon. At this point, I might as well try to comfort everyone.

"Guys, it's going to be okay... Everything will be under control." I spoke slowly. A few of them, especially Shadow, still held glares for me, and probably don't trust me anymore. Tails and Knuckles were trying to help me when another figure walked through the front door.

"Xeno-! S-sorry I took so long... I had to help Lord X with something..." Soul Tails spoke between breaths. Soul Tails looked around, and held his stare at Tails, who noticed Soul Tails, and after all this, finally fainted. Cream rushed to his aid.

"Ahem..." I started, "what are you doing here?"

"Helping you if course! We heard you were in danger!" Soul Tails answered.

I shot a quick glare back at Shadow, who quickly averted his gaze.

"Well I'm a okay Sliat, so why don't you run along and continue helping Lord X?"

"Wait, you're not in danger...?" Soul Tails asked.

"Wait, you were in danger?" Tails asked, waking from his faint. I motioned my hand to Shadow as an answer.

"They all got alerted...?" I asked.

"Maybe?" Soul Tails shrugged.

"Fuck." I said plainly. "Well, do you know who's next?"

"Me bitch!"

Everyone turned to the door to see a bright yellow aura surrounding the stupidest member of my cult.

"Everyone, meet Fleetway..." I groaned.

"Why so sad Xeno? You mad you can't do what I can?!" Fleetway teased.

At this point, my head was hurting so much from everything going on, but I had to stay alert, especially with Fleetway here now. He's bound to make a mess.

"How many more are there?" Silver asked.

"Yeah, and how many of them look like us?" Knuckles piggybacked Silver's question.

"Funny you say that..." Tails Doll giggled, pointing to the door.

"Ah yes, yet another gnat." I mumbled.

"Xeno! You said you were in danger! You lied! I was doing something important!" Soul Knuckles yelled, almost as annoyed as I am.

"I never said shit."

"Come here liar!" Soul Knuckles ran to me, trying to attack me. I simply picked his head up, preventing from doing much else.

"You forgot who I am again, huh?" I smiled.

"Jus put me down..." Soul Knuckles grunted in defeat. I chuckled and set him down. He turned to see everyone, and instantly walked to Knuckles, who looked disgusted, but Soul Knuckles didn't pay any attention to it.

"You still haven't answered my question, faker!" Fleetway bellowed. He started charging up energy balls in his hands.

"Hey that's my line!" Shadow snapped.

"Not anymore, edgy bitch." Fleetway snapped back, startling Shadow. Fleetway shot the energy balls across the room, attempting to break stuff. I was faster, and teleported to the balls to stop them before they broke something.

"You're no fun!" Fleetway whined.

"He's right y'know? You always stop us from enjoying ourselves."

Soul Robotnik walked through the front door, arms crossed. Everyone was disgusted by him, mainly because his skull and brain were completely visible. I think Amy ran away to throw up.

"I get that a lot." I shrugged casually. "Besides, you guys don't know when to stop messing around."

"Yes we do!" Fleetway and Soul Robotnik said simultaneously.

"No, you don't!" I yelled.

"Listen to your leader, he knows best."

Lord X walked through the door next, and his screeching voice scared everyone who wasn't an exe.

"Thank you X. Glad to have you as a friend." I thanked.

"I thought we were your friends?!" Tails yelped.

"Seriously? After all this you still consider this weirdo your friend?" Shadow asked.

"Well yeah! He may be different, but he's still Sonic. We're all different, but we accept each other, right? Look at Blaze and Silver! They sacrificed their dimension to live with us! I don't see you pressuring them too?" Tails explained, leaving Shadow speechless.

"Oh, to answer your question Tails, we're still friends. Lord X is my exe friend though." I answered.

"About you being our leader..."

I sighed, knowing exactly who this last person was: Majin. Annoying as hell. Always wants to be right. Gets into arguments all the time.

"What about me?" I asked, already annoyed, but also prepared for his statements.

"We can't have a good cult if our leader is hung over someone~!" Tails Doll started laughing hysterically.

"Whatever could you mean?" I asked sarcastically.

"OUR OWN XENOPHANES IS IN LOVE WITH BLAZE THE CAT!!!" Majin yelled, causing Tails Doll, Fleetway, and Soul Robotnik to actually fall on the floor, laughing their heads off.

"Alright alright, the fun is over." I snapped sinisterly, instantaneously switching into phase Xenophanes.

"Oh shi-"

I snatched Soul Robotnik and Tails Doll by their heads, and clunked then together, dropping their dizzy bodies. Fleetway held up a bit of a fight, but only for about 20 seconds. Majin was the most complicated yet again, swiftly dodging my attacks like a cartoon character. I eventually grabbed his leg, and he let me dangle him in defeat.

"Test me again Majin. I dare you." I whispered menacingly. Majin waved his hands in surrender, forcing me to drop him.

"See why I hid them? They never learn..."
