"I just don't understand how this will help you!" Renee shouted at her brother, sun burning her skin. All three kids are sun-kissed. Mostly because Euphemia was tired of having them in the manor.

"What is so hard for you to wrap your head around?" Sirius swung his bat in his hand—frustrated with the two. James gestured towards the boy.

"I just don't get how this will help him. He's not a Keeper." She sighed, propping her elbow on the end of her own bat.

"I beg to differ. I would keep him for as long as he wants me, Renny." Renee tossed a disabled bludger up, hitting it at Sirius. Unfortunately, he was able to whack it away.

"Ren, I am now Gryffindor's Captain. I should be able to do everything." James grunted when Sirius batted it towards him. He barely blinked, hitting it toward her. Renee shrugged at his words, not wanting to admit that that made sense. That's what she would do if she cared enough to play the sport. She let the bludger fall to the ground behind her.

Summer had been alright. The Potter girl had only heard from Dorcas and Lily. No word from Matthew. He did say he'd be on holiday to visit his friends in North America. Nothing about their parting on the platform said anything about their current relationship status. Ren was still on the fence about having an actual commitment but she had hoped he would want to see her. Especially since he should've gotten back to England yesterday. Now she was taking it out by hitting useless bludgers at James and Sirius. And maybe something else more destructive than that.

"Is he asleep?" She asked looking up from her book, before placing it beside her on the bed. Sirius nodded enthusiastically, throwing himself onto the once neat bed. He then sparked up a tightly rolled joint, putting it to his lips.

"I think I might like Mary," Sirius confessed looking at the roof. His one hand in his hair and the other on Ren's knee. This was a common position for them. Ever since both had cried together about life. Renee confessed about her anxiety problem and Sirius related. Then she had told him about everything with Remus and Matthew.

"You should never feel pressured into anything, Renny. Even if you think it'll hurt someone's feelings. Sometimes you need to put yourself first. And if it's a snogging partner you're looking for, look no further."

"Okay then Black, kiss me."

"What?"

"You heard me."

"But we were just crying, I don't want you to do something you don't want to do."

"Sirius, I trust you. And I know we both don't have those feelings for each other. You don't have to but if you want someone to snog over the summer, I'm right down the hall."

"Hold on, let's do it, just one thing; don't tell James.

"Wow, I never thought I'd see the big bad Sirius Black having feelings for someone." The boy shoved her knee playfully, letting out a chuckle. "Are you wanting to stop?" She asked, examining his features.

"No, not really. Unless you are, of course."

"I am not." The boy sat up, his body inching towards hers. She instinctively lay on the bed. He rested his head on her chest, and her arms came up to hold him. They just wanted to feel loved.

"This is probably going to become a problem," Sirius whispered into her skin, giving some light kisses to it.

"I know you're talking about the situation-ship we've gotten into but I can't focus on that when you do that." His lips moved faster, kissing her showing skin. Making his way to her lips to give her one last kiss. Sirius settled back down, laying his head down. Renee played with his hair absentmindedly.
