Dear Reg,

I hope that everything is going alright. Sirius has been going mad without you there. Mum and Dad just got to Spain, they said they'll be sending you some trinkets. James and Lily finally bought the house they were looking at, it has three rooms. We're doing fine, keeping our heads up. Owl me soon, I miss you.

With lots of love, Ren

Regulus Black was having a difficult time adjusting to not having his brother and friends with him. The whole of Slytherin labelled him as a Blood Traitor, which was true. But he still scowled at the name. He would go to his classes and then to the library until curfew. Then he would lay in his bed—curtains drawn, and try to sleep. The other students in his dorm would often call him names and push him around. Reg wanted more than anything to curse them and use a nasty one to make them pay for it. But he would think of what Renee would do and choose to ignore them. A couple more months and he would be back at Potter Manor. Back with his family.

"Now, I want Evans, Potter, and Meadowes training with Longbottom, Fabian, and Black. Lupin, Pettigrew, and Vance with McKinnon, Gideon, and Potter. Defence Spells and Stunning Spells. Constant Vigilance, now get to it!" Moody hollered, directing some of the younger Order members.

"How's it going, Renny?" Fab asked, taking his wand out. He brushed his hair out of his face and smiled cheekily towards the girl. Renny had seen very little of the Prewett twins, always in passing. Quick little greetings and small shared smiles.

"It's been alright." She got into a duelling stance, her wand arm raised and feet spread shoulder-width apart. Fabian shot off a stunning spell, causing the girl to fire off a shield. They continued like that for a while. Taking turns firing off spells in the other's direction before Moody called it a day. The tall ginger slung his arm over the Potter. Leaning down to her ear.

"We should go out sometime, you know. To catch up." Renny awkwardly nodded, slipping out and away from him.

"Yeah, of course. We can get everyone out. All go for dinner or drinks. Could be fun." She said sheepishly, moving hair away from her face. Remus stood by the fireplace, watching her bid her goodbyes. They made eye contact and Remus stepped into it, calling out their apartment name. Which they called just plain old 'Ren and Rem's'. The witch followed closely behind him, shaking the floo powder off her clothes.

"Marlene thinks he still has a thing for you," Remus stated, preparing them tea in the adjoining kitchen.

"And I still think Sirius and James are doing it behind Lily's back." She countered, accepting the cup, and kissing his cheek. "He wants everyone to meet up together, sometime after a meeting I assume." Remus' eyes narrowed, scanning over Renee's face. She felt watched so she turned around. His lips pursed as if he was deep in thought. Leaning, he draped his arms over the girl's shoulders, chin on her head. She stumbled forward a bit, supporting half of his weight. Ren swivelled to face him, causing his arms to drop to his side. Her hand was placed on his chest. "What are you thinking?"

He paused for a moment, grabbing the cup from her hands, and discarding it in the sink. "I was thinking about how to break the news that you're mine. Maybe a nice snog in front of everyone, a written-out declaration of my love?" After a few short steps, Remus stood in front of her again. "Or I could make a good Sirius fashioned love-bite." He pouted, pushing her hair over her shoulders.

"Declaration sounds wonderful. Or... hear me out, we could just tell him." Ren's lips left a chaste kiss on his and she walked away. She started tidying up their bedroom.
