Remus had forgiven Sirius to an extent. He would converse with the Black, but he wouldn't confide in him. He hadn't confided in Sirius since they found out about him and Renny. Remus had felt betrayed last year. Mostly by the older boy. Only because he had been the first person who knew he liked the girl. Then of course the whole 'Snape incident', which lost Remus' trust in Sirius. Slowly, the werewolf had been able to forgive him. Right now, he couldn't help but watch him with jealousy. Renee and Remus had begun something. Not labelled as a relationship yet, but they both knew what the other wanted. And they were exclusively snogging each other. And there they were, Sirius and Ren, dancing together, not anything provocative, but Remus was keeping a close eye on them.

Renee snuck glances at the tall boy as she twirled around the makeshift dance floor. She wanted more than anything to be dancing with Remus, but he didn't like to dance. Plus, it was Sirius' eighteenth birthday, so she wasn't going to say no to his offer. Still, she felt weird being with Sirius while Remus stood to the side. Especially since he watched them with a stoic look on his face, talking to Regulus. He sipped his drink slowly, peering over the rim and making direct eye contact with her. "Siri? I think I need a drink. Do you want one?" The black-haired boy shook his head and let her walk away. Ren passed by Reg and Remus, glancing at the amber-eyed one. She gave a slight head tilt and walked right out of the common room. Lupin counted to sixty before he excused himself, finding himself in the Hufflepuff girls' dorms.

Their lips locked as soon as the door closed behind him. Renee's hands found his hair, and his own gripping her hips. Unsurprisingly, Remus is a whole foot taller than the Potter girl. His back arches down to meet her, while she stands on her tippy toes. He can feel his back start to ache, but instead of pulling away, he walks backwards to the bed. They break apart for a moment to get situated on said bed, Renee straddling Remus' hips before they are attached again. The full moon slowly approaches, his senses becoming more powerful. Listening to Ren's heart pounding in her chest, drives him up the wall. She lets out a quiet whimper as he bites down on her bottom lip. His hands keep her in a steady rhythm as she moves on his hips. Renee looked down at Remus, they had never gone this far. She was pleased to see him staring up at her, lips parted as he breathed out harshly. He wants more than anything, to claim her right now. As does she. But he knows it will be over too quickly. Considering the time of the month and the fact that it would be their first time in general. Plus, they've both had a bit to drink. Remus wants it to be special.

"You're so beautiful." He uttered breathlessly, pulling her back down for their lips to meet again. She pulls away, her head placed in the crook of his neck. Leaving gentle kisses along it, until she reached his earlobe. She pulled it between her lips, causing Remus to grip her hips tighter.

"Be with me," Renee whispered, placing another kiss under his jawline.

"I am with you." He sighed, leaning into her touch. Eyes closing in bliss.

"Be my boyfriend, Rem." She clarified, bruising his skin. Remus is pulled from his trance and uses his left hand to turn her face so he can see her.

"Really?" He asked, in a bit of disbelief.

"Of course," she gets off him, looking over as he sits up, "unless that's not what you want. You don't have to."

"No! I mean yes! But are you sure? You haven't been too keen on relationships, and I know you said you were ready for one but... Am I the person you want?" Renee knows where his uncertainty is coming from. With what had happened in the past couple of years, and with his lycanthropy. The boy never really thought he'd ever be in a relationship because of it. But he felt so strongly about Ren, that he thought maybe it could work.

"I don't want anyone else but you, Remus Lupin." He chuckled, pulling her down to lie with him. She nuzzled into his neck again, placing a chaste kiss on it.

"Then to answer your question; of course, I'll be with you in any way you'll have me."

Renee Potter and Remus Lupin wandered around their new flat. They were located just a few blocks away from The Leaky Cauldron in Muggle London. Remus thought the location would be best for his work. The last ten months had been mostly uneventful, apart from going on dates, taking their NEWTs, graduating Hogwarts, and buying an apartment. James had scored a date with Lily in late November, now they were staying at the Manor together with Sirius and Regulus. Monty and Mia decided to take a trip around Europe to celebrate Prongs finally landing Lily Evans. In all reality, the older couple needed a break from Sirius and James' antics around the house. They all had joined a group Dumbledore had put together to fight against the Death Eaters. He called it the Order of the Phoenix. James and Sirius had joined Auror training while Lily studied to become a Healer. Marlene and Dorcas had also moved in together, just a few blocks away from Renee and Remus. Marls joined the Aurors as well while Dorcas started an internship at the Ministry of Magic. Renee had no idea what she was going to do. She had considered training to become a Curse Breaker, but she hadn't earned an Outstanding in Potions or Transfigurations. She had spoken to many shopkeepers in Diagon Alley, in hopes of gaining work there. So far, none have gotten back to her.

"I don't think that shelf will be enough for all of your books, love." The girl laughed as Remus magicked one together. Remus shushed her as he concentrated, his face scrunched up. A new, larger bookshelf appeared, and he sighed in contentment. Most of the furniture they owned was transfigured from things like matchboxes. They weren't in the best shape, but neither cared too much. They were just happy to have a place to call their own. Well, the apartment was technically gifted to them by Monty and Mia, but they said they didn't want to be paid back for it.

"I think this will do just fine," Remus uttered, throwing a look at the girl behind him. She just smiled back at him and pushed his kneeling figure over.

They ate dinner together in silence, stealing glances at each other. Being their first night in the apartment, they weren't used to the quietness. But they also didn't want to take it for granted, knowing soon enough the door would burst open or the floo would light up. Only when they lay in bed together, do they have a real conversation. "Rem." She poked his back. "Remus."

"What." He grumbled back.

"Are you awake?" She asked innocently.

"No." He sighed, turning around to see her grin. To which he couldn't help but return. "What's up?"

"I was just thinking. When I get a job, can we get a pet?"

"Sirius can come over in his animagus form whenever you want."

"No, but like, I've never really had one. I've always wanted a cat, but dad's allergic."

"I'll tell you what, once we get situated, find a bigger-ish place, and potty-train Padfoot. Then we can talk about getting a cat."
