Lost and Found

"Find my son immediately!" Ei yelled as she slammed on her and threw whatever was on the desk. Who wouldn't be enraged when news got to her that her daughter was missing? Ei can't help but to overthink that it's her enemies who took her son away.

"Honey, p-please calm down," Miko said as she hugged the enraged archon to calm down. "I'm worried to death too. They will find him, and if we know who did this to our son, consider their lives gone,"

Miko and Ei are not the type to forgive and forget. They are the types of people who get revenge if someone messes up with them. They will do everything for their son.

"M-my son," Ei sobbed quietely in the arms of Miko. "My poor son, he must've been so terrified,"

"I know, Ei, I know" was all Miko could say. She is, too, terrified by the thought of their son alone with someone who's dangerous. He's just two years old. Even if he's older, her parents would still be protective of him, and Ei wouldn't hesitate to kill someone if they harmed her son.

Their door was opened harshly by Ei's most trusted person, Sara. She got both good and bad news, but Ei chose the good news first.

"We know who abducted your son," she said.

Ei's eyes were dark. All you could hear around you was the archon's rage, thunder crackling everywhere in Inazuma. "Who?"

"Nobushi's," Sara said. "Nobushi's and Fatui's,"

Ei gripped her polearm as she stood up from her throne and was about to leave, but Sara stopped her. Ei glared at her and almost shot lightning at her general.

"Y-your Excellency, please hear the bad news first,"

"Say it, don't waste my time, my son is out there with those fucking bastards!" she yelled.

"If any of us takes any action, they won't hesitate to... kill Scaramouche," Sara said. "We only know of this since they sent us a letter."

"How foolish of them to threaten a archon," Ei hissed. "They won't even see me coming,"

"Ei," Miko called her wife as she stood up from her chair and approached Ei and held her hand. She looked at those glowing amethyst ages in rage, but it soon calmed down and Ei's face softened as Miko touched her cheek. "Let's not be reckless; our son's life is on the line,"

Ei couldn't help but deeply sigh and return to sit on her throne. She looked at her general and said, "Got any plans?"

"Based on our knowledge of the Fatui's, they would most like to want a negotiation. They have ulterior motives for sure as they kidnapped your son," Sara said. "It must've been so important,"

"And what?"

"As for the Nobushi's, they just want riches, which we can give," her general said.

"I may have a clue about what the fatui's goal is," the wife of the electro archon spoke. "It's the electro archon's gnosis,"

"Is that it? My gnosis is what they are after. " Ei scoffed.

"Yes, my love," Miko said. "And we don't have any need for that gnosis, correct?" Ei nodded. "Then let's just give it to them, since gnosis is just a connection of...celestia," Miko said. "And you cut ties with that place,"

"As expected of my wife, so clever," Ei chuckled. Her mood seemed to brighten up as she kissed Miko on the cheek. "Send a letter to them and tell them that I will personally give it to them," she said to her general, and with that, Sara left swiftly.

Ei held tight to Miko's hand as she kissed its knuckles. Miko clearly knows that Ei is anxious and is worrying to death. "He will be fine," Miko mumbled as she held Ei's face. "I promise, he will be fine,"
