Swords collided, sending sparks flying. Two men were fighting with their swords and their visions, anemo.

Clash after clash, the other person was eventually knocked to the ground.

"Aren't I a great swordsman?" Scaramouche chuckled as he helped Kazuha in standing.

"You are, my Lord," Kazuha said, smiling and straightening his clothes as he sat on the floor and drank some water. "You've made significant progress,"

Scaramouche sat down beside him. "I didn't expect to get stronger," he said. "I was losing hope, but you were there for me," he said, laughing. "I appreciate it,"

"You're most welcome, my Lord,"

"Stop that, aren't we friends?" chuckled Kunikuzushi.

"We are," Kazuha said. "However, I like calling you that since it suits you."

"Whatever you want,"

---

Inside the Tenshukaku, a feast was taking place. Inside, commissioners sat down with their archon and her family.

"I heard Lord Kunikuzushi's sword fighting had improved," Ayato commented as he sipped his tea. "If I may, I would want to spar with him."

"Please give my son a break," Ei laughed. "Even though my son is 18, I still treat him like a little boy," she chuckled.

"My son did grow into an excellent man," Miko murmured as she kissed his forehead. "I'm proud,"

"Thank you, mother," Scara said as he continued eating.

"Thank you, Kazuha," Ei added. "Without you, I'd have a terrible time training my son," she quipped.

"Mom," Scaramouche whined and Kazuha just laughed.

"Thank you, Your Excellency, for giving me the opportunity to learn from you as well," Kazuha responded. "Without you, my skills would not have improved,"

Ei just smiled and had a drink with Kazuha. They were all boisterous, laughter filled the room and drunkards were chanting songs of Inazuma. It was a great feasting night.

Miko escorted her wife to her room fell asleep with her when the electro archon became intoxicated as well. Commissioners were passed out; it was fine for them to sleep within the Tenshukaku, but when they awoke, they had to clean.

Scaramouche was inside his room on the balcony, staring out over the city. The cold wind kissed his face, he shivered, and Kazuha pulled a coat around him.

"You're going to catch a cold, my Lord; please go inside and get warm,"

"When will you leave,"

"Pardon, my Lord?"

"Didn't you tell me back then that you'd leave when I finally defeated you?" Scaramouche said, looking at him.

"I'm not sure. Why, my Lord? Are you so eager for me to leave?" Kazuha chuckled softly and gazed over the city. The lights were bright, citizens cleaning and closing their shops, and children returning home to sleep.

"It's the opposite,"

"What do you mean, my Lord?"

"I want you to stay, I don't want you to leave,"

"That can't...be possible, my Lord; I have a family to return to, and I'm sure they missed me," he chuckled as he looked him in the eyes. "I can write letters to check in on you, and maybe we'll spar again in the future,"

"Stay, Kazuha; that's an order,"

"That I cannot obey, my Lord," murmured Kazuha. "Don't be stubborn, Scaramouche,"

"Why?!"

"Every journey has an end, Scaramouche," Kazuha said. "My journey here in Inazuma is done; it's time for me to return; I have a family to care for, and my sister is waiting for me,"

"Can't I.... can't I just go with you?"

"You can't, my Lord; you're here for a purpose," he said. "You'll rule over Inazuma once Her Excellency retires, and I'll make sure to be here for the ceremony," he grinned.

"I don't want to rule this nation; all I want is to be with you; isn't that possible?"

"I can't answer that," Kazuha sighed. "Only Her Excellency can answer that,"

Scaramouche then entered his room and lay down on the bed, entangled beneath the sheets. Kazuha sighed and took a seat on the bed. "My Lord, don't be like this."

"..."

Despite the fact that Scaramouche was hiding beneath the sheets, Kazuha lay next him and embraced him. "I'll make sure to send you letters with photos in them," he promised. "I swear,"

Scaramouche then removed the sheets over his head and looked at Kazuha. "I.."

"Shh," he whispered quietly. "Let's enjoy the night without worrying," he said. "Let's stay up all night, just talking and embracing with each other," and so they did, it's just them, embracing with each other, talking about everything, making plans for the next time they meet.

Every journey has an end, but theirs has yet to arrive.
