He's being a brat again

"Did you blackmailed Kazuha for him to say this," Ei sighed. "I already told you, my answer is no. You will learn how to fight when you're much older,"

"Your Excellency, I can assure you that Scaramouche had nothing to do with me saying this," Kazuha said. "My mother, Beidou, has already taught me how to fight; you can be certain that Scaramouche will learn to fight without a single scratch on his face,"

"I trust you, Kazuha, but not my son,"

"You don't trust your own son?! Why?!"

"Because you're a reckless brat!"

"That is not enough reason!"

"Your clumsiness nearly killed a man!"

The door then burst open, revealing an enraged kitsune. She pulled their ears as she approached the two bickering.

"Ow!"

"M-mom! That hurts!"

"Your yelling can be heard all across Tenshukaku; don't you have manners?" Miko snarled.

"I-i'm sorry, my love,"

Kazuha then chuckled quietly at them, clearing his throat.

"I'll make a far better proposal, Your Excellency, since I genuinely want to help this...friend of mine," he said with a smile.

Miko then released their ears and turned to face Kazuha. "Don't worry, little one; whatever ideas you have in mind, I accept," she smiled.

"But-"

"No buts from you, Ei. Let your son learn, it's the only thing he loves," Miko remarked, glaring at her wife, and Ei sat down like a sad puppy who had been scolded by her owner.

"Now, go on. I'll talk to my wife here," she replied, and Scaramouche then stuck out his tongue and teased her mother, and as Ei was about to grab his ear, he quickly left with Kazuha.

"That brat!"

Miko turned to face her wife, laughing at them. "You need to calm with your son; he's only a kid," she said. "Your son will soon be a grownup,"

"I just want him to be a proper boy or a good one, not a brat," Ei muttered.

"Oh my dear Ei," Miko chuckled as she approached and sat on her wife's lap. "I promise, I'm sure he'll grow to be an excellent man."

Ei sighed softly and rested her head on Miko's chest. "I'll trust you on that, after all, you're the only woman I know who loves being elegant," she chuckled.

---

"First and foremost, stop talking back to your mother; second, do what I tell you,"

"Who are you to command me?" Scaramouche hissed.

"Your....teacher," he said, smiling. "Remember, act nice to me or I'll tell Her Excellency to cancel these types of classes,"

Scaramouche blushed in embarrassment and turned away from him. "S-start,"

"So, what kind of weapon do you want to use?"

"Sword and polearm, just like my mother,"

"Let's get started then," he smiled.

---

Scaramouche landed on the floor for the fifth time with not a single scratch on his face. He was drenched in sweat and struggling to knock down Kazuha, who was effortlessly dodging Scaramouche's attacks.

"You're too slow, I can predict your strikes," he said as he knocked Scaramouche down again, careful not to hit him in the face. "You're only focused on striking me; you're not even thinking about how,"

"Shut up!" shouted Scaramouche as he threw the wooden sword.

"Stay calm, or you'll be killed if you lose control of your emotions," Kazuha said as he took up the sword. "Keep your emotions under control and your senses sharpened,"

The room's doors then opened to reveal the archon and the kitsune. Kazuha then bowed before them as Ei told him to rise up and stop acting like that since Ei treats him like family.

"How is training going?" Ei asked.

"It's... slow progress, but he can do it," Kazuha said as he wiped away his sweat.

"Well, I can see why is it a slow progress," Ei snorted. "Is he that bad?"

As Ei sighed, Kazuha stood there silently. "Does it really make sense for Kazuha to teach our son?" Ei asked Miko.

"Don't be too hard on our son, Ei; I'm sure he's doing his best," Miko said as she wiped the sweat from Scaramouche's face. "Are you trying your hardest?"

"Yes, mother,"

"Then that's good," she said. "Ei, come on,"

Ei let out a sigh and knelt in front of her kid. "I promise I'll teach you personally when I have the time,"

Scaramouche's face brightened as he was overjoyed at the thought of her mother personally training him. Nothing could make Scaramouche happier than this fulfillment of his dream.

"Train with Kazuha till then; I anticipate you'll be a little better when I try to spar with you," Ei remarked as she rose up and approached the door. "The training ends in the evening; take a bath and rest," she remarked as she walked away from Miko.

"Let's continue?"

"Yes,"
