Scaramouche, who is just a year old, knows a lot. He can tell if his parents are flirting in front of him because he makes a disgusted look and teases them. Sure, he inherited his cunning from Miko, and Ei merely groaned as a result.

"I feel sorry for the people Scaramouche will tease in the future," Ei sighed, as Miko laughed. Miko has the tendency to tease someone to death, and Ei has been a victim of this, and she is afraid that Scaramouche will be like his mother in the future. It scares Ei just thinking about it.

"At the very least, when someone bullies him, he can protect himself with words," Miko remarked. "Aren't you a mama's boy?" she said, poking Scaramouche's nose, and he laughed.

"We're moving on," Ei sighed. "Lady Ningguang has invited us to their Lantern Rite festival, therefore we shall leave tomorrow morning," she said. "Beidou has plans for a feast,"

"Aunt Beidou really spoils you, little one," Miko murmured, carrying Scara. "Are you excited? You get to meet new people, including an old friend who has horns!"

Scaramouche was ecstatic; he enjoys meeting new people, but he still wants to be with his family. He is afraid of becoming lost or abducted again. In response, he laughed and hugged Miko. "Of course, you'll meet an old man, let's suppose he's your.... Grandpa or Uncle," Miko laughed. "Would you like to meet him, little one?" Scaramouche replied to her mother's query. He's interested about the old man Miko is talking about.

"You know he'll be furious about your remark about him," Ei sighs before laughing. "Rest now, you two; we'll get up early in the morning, and it's nearly midnight," she remarked, kissing her son's head. "I know you're excited, kid, but for now, go to sleep." Her son nodded, and Miko placed him in his cradle and drew Ei to their bed, where they lay down alongside one other.

"I'm excited to go to Liyue; it's been decades since I left Inazuma," Miko murmured, snuggling closer to Ei's neck.

"I guarantee we'll have a wonderful vacation there," Ei says as she kisses her wife's forehead. "Go rest now, my love,"

---

In the morning, they were all ready. Miko, who is carrying their sleeping kid, is waiting aboard the ship for Ei and the general, Kujou Sara. Kokomi, the High Priestess of Watatsumi Island, accompanied her. They were friends who enjoyed writing and reading books or novels. They did, in fact, work together.

"Good morning, Lady Guuji Yae," Kokomi remarked as she respectfully bowed to Miko. After all, she is their archon's wife. "I was surprised to be invited by this voyage, even if I was forced to come here with my beloved, Sara, and I suppose I may take a vacation with all of you," Kokomi chuckled.

"The more the merrier, High Priestess," Miko giggled. "How is life with the general? Is she still the hard-headed tengu?" Miko snorted. "That bird is always...serious, and I can't help but worry about you and your relationship with her,"

"Thank you for your concern, Lady Guuji Yae," Kokomi said with a smile. "But we're fine, and our relationship is amazing; she's gradually opening up to me, and she's...clingy when we're alone,"

Miko was surprised; after all, hearing the General being clingy was new to her. With it, she might be able to torment the unfortunate bird. "Is that so? Well, I'm glad your relationship is great, and I know that bird is that stern," she giggled.

They waited for their loved ones till they showed up. Ei was serious with her General, and Miko scoffed since Ei was thinking about work again. When Ei sees her wife, her face softens and she gives Miko a brief hug, trying not to wake their kid.

"Are you all ready? My apologies for the late arrival since we had to go to the Yashiro Commission first; I don't want Inazuma to be in danger while I'm gone," Ei laughed.

"Everything is ready, Your Excellency," Kokomi replied, clutching Sara's arms. "Thank you for inviting me here; it gives me great joy."

"You're welcome," Ei says with a smile. "Then let us go to our quarters and let the ship sail!"

---

It was almost nighttime when they arrived in Liyue Harbor. It was a long journey, the sea was wild, thunders roared, and Ei tried to control it but that part of the sea is not her domain, but she still managed to reduce the powerful thunders and they arrived safely at the harbor.

They were greeted by a captain; she was alone, and Ei shook hands with her. "Welcome to Liyue, Your Excellency!" said Beidou.

"We appreciate your warm greeting," Ei said with a smile.

"Ah, please accept our apologies since my wife is too busy organising and planning the festival to meet you here; these days in Liyue are wild and chaotic!" Beidou laughed. "But we're pleased to have an archon visit the harbor, and everyone in Liyue is curious about what the Raiden Family looks like,"

"It's fine, but when does the festival begin? Is it tonight?" Ei inquired, to which Beidou answered, "Oh no no! The festival begins tomorrow! You can rest tonight, I'm sure you're all exhausted from the journey."

"I apologize for ruining the mood, but where will we stay?" Miko inquired. "Our son is quite the crybaby here; after all, he is in a new environment," she chuckled.

"Oh, where have my manners gone?" Beidou exclaimed. "I'll take you there; follow me," she said, and the rest of them, followed the captain, who was telling stories loudly. Scaramouche enjoyed it; in fact, he was enthralled by the captain's adventures, and the mention of someone, a new friend, piqued his interest.
