A moment to remember

"The fireworks show will begin shortly, dear," Miko remarked as she walked behind Ei to the Tenshukaku's balcony with Scaramouche on her arms. Ningguang and her family are on the other, and both families have time to themselves. The view of Inazuma is exquisite; Ei controlled the skies and did not allow a single lightning to appear, the stars were bright, and the moon shone brightly on their faces. The night was cold, but it was just perfect for them.

"Did you like your trip with them, kid?" Ei asked, ruffling Scaramouche's hair. Scaramouche whined, but he nodded and smiled happily at her mother. Ei returned his smile and laid a kiss on his brow before wrapping her arm around Miko's waist and pulling them both to her for a hug.

The sky were filled with vibrant colors once more, and the people of the city were ecstatic at the show that their Archon had planned for them. Children were running around the streets, while adults were yelling with joy, drinking till they passed out, and eating until their tummies were full. It was just another peaceful and joyful night in Inazuma, yet it was a memorable moment.

"I love you both so much," Ei said softly as she kissed her wife's and her sons' foreheads. She never expected to live like way after her only twin sister died. She was devastated when her friends died, save for Yae Miko, who stayed with her for 500 years despite the fact that Ei had made some terrible decisions in her life, and she pledged to her life that she would always be at her side, as well as to their son.

Scaramouche yawned, Ei teased him, and Miko scolded her. Miko then placed Scaramouche in his bed and watched him sleep.

Miko approached Ei as their kid fell asleep, hugging her on the back and wrapping her arms around her waist, kissing Ei's shoulder. "Are you tired, my Archon?" Ei turned to face her and hugged Miko about the waist.

"Tired," Ei muttered as she rested her head on Miko's shoulder. "I'm extremely exhausted,"

"Should I give you a massage? I swear it will only be a massage," Miko smiled at her and Ei snorted in return. Well, whenever Miko gives a massage, it always ends in.... unexpected events.

"I never thought that I will get to experience this life with you, Miko," Ei murmured. "It's a blessing to have you in my life, and our son. Everything that has happened, it's all thanks to you,"

"I'm glad I waited for you for 500 years, it was worth the wait, you were worth the wait," Miko said, "I know why you pursued eternity, but it's just the wrong and selfish way. I 'm glad you're back with the help of that traveler,"

"That woman.... she was powerful, there is something more...in her, but it's locked away, I'm not sure what it is, but if that power is unleashed, I hope that she would use it for the sake of the world," Ei remarked.

"I hope so too," Miko said. "But, enough of that topic, let's now rest, my Archon, carry me," she chuckled and Ei sighed then smiled at her then carried her wife to their bed, they laid down and hugged each other and drifted off to sleep.

Ei had gotten up early to accompany Ningguang and her family to the dock. It was time for them to go. Ei didn't wake up Miko and her son since it's too early in the morning and they look so exhausted and is enjoying a wonderful sleep. She kissed them goodbye before leaving.

"It was great spending time here with my family," Ningguang said. "Although, we have a festival in Liyue, it's the lantern rite festival. You can bring your family or other friends, you are all welcome," she smiled.

"I'll keep it in mind," Ei said. "I'm planning to travel with my family as well; I can't simply stay here in my nation," she chuckled. "Be careful on your travels,"

"Take care, Your Excellency; this trip will be treasured," Beidou added. "If you need anything, send me a letter," she said as they boarded the ship. "Tell Scaramouche that if he arrives, we shall have a feast!" she yelled as the ship sailed away.

"Please clear all of my schedule for next week since we are going to Liyue," Ei stated. "You may invite Kokomi; I'm sure you want to spend your time with your loved one," she chuckled as she walked away to join her family at the Tenshukaku.
