Drunkards

"I'm happy you enjoyed the meal here in Inazuma, my wife, Miko, was fussing at me saying what if the guests didn't like our food here," Ei chuckled as she fed her son on her lap.

"What nonsense! The food here in Inazuma is better than I imagined, but of course, my wife's cooking is still the greatest," Beidou teased Ningguang.

The words of her wife made Ningguang blush, but she discreetly pinched her waist, and Beidou hissed silently in pain. Qiqi, their daughter, was sitting on Beidou's lap, and they were both feeding her.

"Ah, before I forget," Miko said, summoning one of the servants. "Please bring the... drinks here, the ones I ordered for our pirate captain," she continued, and the servant went to do as Miko instructed. "I've heard the pirate captain loves drinks,"

"Indeed I am!" chuckled Beidou. "I want to drink all kinds of cocktails across Teyvat, though I doubt I'll be welcomed in Snezhnaya," she says.

"It's a troublesome nation, I'd prefer not become involved with them, which is why I just gave away my gnosis, which I have no use for," Ei scoffed.

"Mama..."

"Yes, bud?" Ei said, concernedly looking at her son.

"Play"

"You must have been bored," she chuckled, "do you want to play with Qiqi? You can share your toys with her."

"Well, they can play to bond," Beidou said. "Although we need someone to keep an eye on them, my daughter is quite sly, and one look away from her and she's gone," she laughed.

Ei immediately summoned her general, who came in the dining room. "Please escort the kids to Scaramouche's room and babysit them for a bit; after this, I'll give you a day off so you can spend time with your girlfriend," she chuckled.

"I-ah, thank you, Your Excellency," Sara said as she took Scaramouche in her left arm and Qiqi in her right, leaving the room to walk to Scaramouche's room.

The servant then appeared, carrying the drink on her arm. It was a large bottle, and sake is known for being a strong alcoholic drink, which Beidou prefers.

Miko took the sake and handed it over to the captain. "This drink is called Shōchū, and it has 25% alcohol by volume," she explained. "I recommend drinking it slowly, sip by sip, so you can enjoy it," she said as she poured a glass and handed it to Beidou.

Beidou then took a little sip, her eyes widening and hissing slightly. "Holy mother of fuck, this shit is far too strong," she laughed, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"Take it slow, baobei," Ningguang sighed.

When Miko poured her a glass, Ei laughed as she took a drink. "I'm used to this drink since we always drank it back then," she said as she drank it all, and Beidou was astounded.

Miko, like Ningguang, did not drink anything. They're well-known for.... weak to alcohol and will faint out after only one sip.

The night was boisterous, and the dining room was filled with the electro archon and the pirate captain's laughing. Their talk was filled with useless topics, and their wives couldn't help but sigh and keep them quiet. It was embarrassing for them, but they are definitely having fun.

"I was rejected by Ningguang five times," Beidou chuckled. "For five times, Ei, and she kept insisting we couldn't be together, but here we are, married and with a child," she laughed.

"The dedication," Ei chuckled. "Ningguang must've been bothered and stressed by you," she laughed.

"Oh, those times," Ningguang sighed in her chuckle. "She was really stubborn, she is romantic and some ways and I can't help but to fall for her and give in,"

"Oh, please," Miko scoffed, "my wife is much more difficult. I have to make her realize how she feels about me and drag her out of her shithole," she snorted.

"How did you get your archon to confess to you?" Beidou asked.

"I-it's best that you don-"

"Hush," Miko interrupted Ei. "We were in a commissioners meeting, and I tried flirting with the Yashiro Commissioner to make Ei jealous, which it worked," she chuckled. "When the meeting was over, she asked me to stay in the room and asked all of the commissioners to leave, and it was there that she confessed,"

Beidou laughed and Ningguang can't help but to let out a chuckle and Ei just straightly drink up her drink and she was flushing hard. She was embarrassed, terribly embarrassed.

"I'm sorry for laughing, Your Excellency," Beidou said. "But what your wife said is very hilarious," she giggled.

"Y-yeah, no worries," Ei replied, glaring at her wife, and Miko simply smiled innocently at her. But, in Ei's mind, she plans to severely punish this fox, and Miko knows what Ei is thinking.

The doors to the room opened, revealing the general holding two tired kids who were whining for their moms. Ei took Scaramouche and Beidou took Qiqi and sat back down.

"I suppose we'll call it a night," Miko said, taking Scaramouche from Ei while her son hugged her and tried to sleep.

"Yeah, these two kids are probably exhausted from playing," Beidou quipped. "Well, then, we'll go first," she said as she and Ningguang rose up.

"Thank you for the meal and the liquor, which my wife loved," Ningguang said as she and her wife and daughter exited the room.

"Thank you, Sara; you may go home and enjoy your day off," Ei said, as Sara bowed and left the room. "And you, my love, I feel we have something to do," she whispered quietly, and oh boy, Miko is done.
