Returning home

Scaramouche didn't want to go home at all. He still wanted to stay and see those beautiful fireworks in the sky. He still wants to play with Qiqi and...wanted to get to know Kazuha. He whined and whined, and Ei was furious. Miko asked Ei to go outside and cool off before taking care of their son.

"Little one, you irritated mama Ei," Miko said. "You don't want that, do you?" Miko asked, and Scaramouche nodded. "I understand you still want to stay, but who will look after our home? Your mommy has a big responsibility, little one," Miko chuckled as she poked Scaramouche's nose, and he giggled. "Soon you will have that responsibility as well, so it's better that you listen to your mama, okay?" Scaramouche nodded and stopped whining.

Miko then called Ei back into the room and handed Scaramouche to her. Scara then kissed Ei on the cheek to apologize, and Ei, of course, can't stay mad at her little boy being sweet to her.

"Our luggage have already been packed and Sara has already taken them to the ship; they are simply waiting for us in the docks," Ei said, and Miko nodded and left with Ei to the docks. It was already lunchtime, and as much as they wanted to stay and eat with the others, they had to go home and settle some political matters in Inazuma once more.

"It was a pleasure to have you here, Your Excellency," Ningguang remarked as she held Kazuha's hand. "It'll be a long time before we see you again," she chuckled.

"You're right," Ei replied. "We'll make sure to visit Liyue again, Scaramouche would be old then," Ei laughed as she brushed his son's hair and he pouted.

"He's already big for a one year old boy," Beidou chuckled. "And my boy Kazuha is like an adult!" she laughed as she did with a fist bump with his son.

"He has a thing for poetry," Miko remarked. "Perhaps I can be his literary teacher, he and my son can be educated by me," Miko smirked, plainly having another ulterior motive, which Ei noticed.

"It would be an honor for my son to learn from you, Lady Guuji Yae," Ningguang said with a smile. "Although I have no idea how to repay you,"

"Nonsense, Lady Ningguang; there is no need to repay me; my son, after all, wants to be close to Kazuha," Miko chuckled.

"Then that's settled, my son will be your student in the future," Ningguang remarked, shaking Miko's hand. The family then boarded the ship and bid Liyue farewell.

"What do you mean we don't have enough resources on Watatsumi Island?" Ei asked the Kamisato Clan's head.

"I've heard reports that they're short on...farming materials and seeds," he remarked.

"Tell Sara to talk with Kokomi about this and they solve it," Ei grumbled at the Yashiro Commissioner. "They have my approval to obtain anything they require, but please submit me a report,"

"Yes, Your Excellency," Ayato said as he bowed and left the Tenshukaku.

Ei was welcomed with a backlog of work in Inazuma as soon as they arrived. Maybe she'll let the Shogun take control again, although it seems like a horrible plan, and Miko will kill her.

The doors suddenly opened to reveal Miko, who approached Ei with concern in her eyes. "My love, we've just arrived here; why don't you rest first with me in our chambers?" Miko asked, walking behind Ei and hugging her from behind.

"Dear, I need to accomplish this quickly so that I can spend time with you and my son," Ei said.

"You can do anything you need to do after you rest," Miko hissed, "come on, Ei; we just arrived, and your son is looking for you and excited to play with you."
