"Have you ever wondered what his first word will be?" Ei asked her wife, who was writing some novels and Ei was staring at her sleeping son in his cradle.

"Hmm, I think he'll say mama first," Miko speculated. "Or whatever he wants to say,"

All parents wonder what their child will say on their first word; it's the most precious thing in the world, and it must be remembered forever. Ei wondered what her first word was, but her memory failed her, and she can't remember anything from her childhood, including her parents, who bore her.

"Should we celebrate when he said his first word?" Ei questioned. She absolutely loves spoiling his son, and she is even willing to plan a celebration in honor of her son's first word.

"That's a bit too much, my love," Miko chuckled as she put down her pen and turned to face her wife. "Your son is nervous around a lot of people; he doesn't like it when it's crowded," she continued to write.

"Hmm, is that so?" Ei asked, and she noticed his son open his eyes and smile when he saw his mother. "Hey, bud. Did you have a good sleep?" she inquired, and her son gave her a small giggle, which made Ei melt with joy. She snatched him up and carried him into her arms.

"Look at your mama being a busy person," Ei said as she showed him her wife. "But she's still beautiful, isn't she?" she asked, and her son did agree. They truly believe that Yae Miko is the most beautiful woman in the world, and no one can convince them otherwise.

"What are you whispering to our son?" Miko chuckled, standing up and approaching them. She gave Ei a small kiss and looked at Scaramouche, who was lying down in Ei's arms like a cute fluff ball. "Is your mama talking bad?" Scaramouche laughed quietly, and both wives melted at their son's cuteness.

"We're just talking about how busy you are and how beautiful you are, isn't that right, bud?" Ei laughed as her son responded with a cute nod. They admired Scaramouche's ability to understand what they were saying, despite the fact that he was only 10 months old.

Miko chuckled, "Such a sweet talker." "You got that from your stubborn mom, huh?" she said as she tickled Scaramouche's tummy, and he laughed loudly.

Ei was about to say something when someone knocked on their door and said, "Come in," and it was her General who showed up. She looked solemn, far too solemn. Ei handed Scaramouche to Miko and approached Sara, who mumbled something into the ears of her archon.

"I see," Ei mumbled as she turned to face her wife. "Wait for me in the entrance," Ei said to her general as she closed the room's door. Ei approached Miko and looked at Scaramouche, who was staring at her with curiosity. "I have some matters to attend to," she explained to Miko.

"But, Ei, it's late at night," Miko expressed concern.

Ei sighed, "I know, my love." "But...I have something to....dispose of, and it's a threat to Inazuma, you, and our son," she explained. "I can't let this being roam the lands of my nation,"

Miko sighed in response, knowing she couldn't stop Ei, but she couldn't help but worry about her, even if her wife is literally the electro archon. An archon, capable of slaughtering hundreds, if not thousands, of people.

"Please be careful," Miko said, and Ei responded with a smile. Ei smiled as she looked at her child.

"I'll be right back, bud, but in the meantime, protect your mama for me, okay?" she said, her son giggling and nodded. "Atta boy," she said, kissing her son's head and her wife's lips. "I'll be back as soon as possible," she said as she walked away.

Scaramouche was sleeping on his cradle at midnight, and Miko couldn't help but worry as she walked back and forth in the room. Yes, she can still feel Ei's presence, but it's weak, so she'd be worried to death.

Her concern vanished when she heard her doors open, and it was Ei who opened them; there was blood dripping on her arms, a single wound on her left arm, but the rest was fine. Even if it was only a single wound, Miko rushed to her and hugged her wife.

Ei hissed in pain, but she hugged her worried kitsune anyway. "I've returned home, my love,"

"W-what happened? Why are you so badly hurt?" she asked as she dragged Ei to the bed and sat down on it. Miko rushes to get some clean water and a bandage for it.

"It's just a single wound, Miko, don't be worried," Ei quipped. "It will heal quickly,"

"Even so," Miko hissed. "It will leave a scar if you don't take care of it, and I don't want you to get hurt," she sighed as she wiped the blood from her arm and applied the bandage.

"I know, Miko, but you can't avoid getting hurt in a fight," Ei explained.

Miko hissed and tightened the bandage around Ei, who hissed in pain. "That's why you have to be extremely careful, idiot."

"I kno-"

"idiot,"

They were both stunned and shocked as they slowly looked at their son's cradle and found that he was standing up! It was their son who said that word, and he was smiling at them!

"Did he...did he just said...idiot?" Ei asked.

"I-i think he did,"

"idiot," their son said innocently, and both wives knew they had screwed up for their son's first word.
