Lantern Rite Festival

 It was late at night, and Beidou had taken Ei to their respective rooms; the General was with her lover, and the family was together. Scaramouche was fast asleep, tired as he was, but he was still curious about something.

"It's late at night, dear. Why are you still awake?" Miko asked as she sat up on the bed as she saw Ei standing in front of the window. "Trouble sleeping?"

"Perhaps," Ei mumbled. "I'm just worried....at home," she murmured. Miko then sighed and chuckled as she left the bed and approached Ei, hugging her from behind.

"I promise everything is fine," Miko muttered. "No one will harm Inazuma, and if they do, I will hunt them down from the depths of Teyvat, whether they are from Snezhnaya or not,"

"Don't you think that'll start a war?" Ei chuckled as she held Miko's hands around her waist.

"Well, they've already started a war if they strike Inazuma while we're on vacation," Miko chuckled, and Ei faced her wife and carried her to their bed as she laid her wife down and lay beside her. She drew Miko into a hug and tucked her chin on Miko's head.

"My archon is such a worry wart," Miko cooed. "For this vacation, please stop worrying about such things and focus on us, your son, and me," she said quietly. "Please?"

"I...I will try my best,"

The sound of a boy yelling "Mama!" can be heard from inside the room. He was the first to wake up, and he was naturally excited, despite the fact that he couldn't escape because he was inside the cradle. "Mama!"

Miko groaned, after all, she hated having her morning ruined by loud yells, but she couldn't do anything because it was her son who was yelling their name. "Archons, Ei, please take him,"

Ei sighed, but got out of bed and approached Scaramouche. "Kid, you love to irritate the hell out of us, don't you?" her son innocently smiled at her, and Ei poked his nose. Ei carried Scaramouche to their bed and whispered in Scaramouche's ear, "wake your mama up."

"It's still early in the morning, why are you all so awake?" Miko groaned, her eyes still closed.

Scaramouche laughed and continued to poke Miko's cheeks. It was squishy, and it was their favourite part of Miko. "Mama...have....fun,"

"You can play with your Mama Ei while I sleep, little one."

"But....I...."

"Kid, let me handle this, okay?" Ei chuckled as she moved closer to Miko's ears and whispered something that caused Miko to immediately open her eyes and sit up from the bed. "See, kid? She's awake now," Ei said with a laugh.

Scaramouche made fun of Miko's bright red face, and Miko tickled her son. "You'd better keep your promise, dear," Miko warned.

"Of course I will. I never go back on what I said," Ei innocently smiled as their son looked at them, puzzled, but he just hugged Miko and signed that he was hungry.

They all changed their clothes and went outside to find a restaurant for breakfast. Of course, the General and the Priestess accompanied them. After 30 minutes, they finally found a restaurant run by a girl with a bluish bob haircut and a strange looking bear thing.

"I...uh," Ei mumbled, clearly unsure what to order from the menu.

"I'm Xiangling, at your service! It's pretty obvious that you guys are new from here," she said joyfully. "I can recommend a few dishes that you will never regret trying,"

"Just cook whatever breakfast menu you have for us," Miko requested. "You're right, we're new here," she says. "Please do us the honor of serving us something spectacular,"
