"Ei," Miko murmured as she approached her wife on the table, who was writing and sorting documents. "We have Liyue visitors," she explained. "I assume you're familiar with Beidou."

The mention of Miko drew Ei's attention to her. "That strong pirate," she remarks. "I remember her; she was one of the Traveler's companions that battled my General's men; they were quite a headache," she chuckled.

"She's here with her wife, the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing," Miko said. "From what I know, they also have a daughter," she added with a smile. "She's a nice and quiet child, but I know Scaramouche and her will get along, hopefully."

"Are they both one year old?" Ei asked, to which her wife nodded. "Ah, I hope our boy gets along with her, Scaramouche is a tremendous amount of energy," she chuckled. "I hope their daughter is patient."

Ei wonders what brought them here; is it for business? How about politics? Are they looking for assistance or support? Or perhaps they came here for a vacation; after all, Inazuma is now a free and open country to everybody after the occurrence of the Vision Hunt decree.

"When will they arrive?" Ei asked.

"We can greet them ourselves tomorrow morning," Miko murmured, and Ei nodded and went back to work. As Miko sat on her lap, she glared at her and took Ei's hands off the table. "Dear, do you recall what we spoke about?"

"A-ah," Ei faltered, knowing exactly what Miko was on about. "Of course I do, but I simply need to finish this so I can have some free time tomorrow," she says.

"Dear, you have other workers here, they can take care of things, why are we paying them for?" Miko groaned. "Your son is waiting for you in the living room; she wants to see Yoimiya and has requested some fireworks for later in the evening,"

"Did he?" Ei sighed. "But I to-" Miko interrupted her, "He wants to do the fireworks with us, Ei. What did I tell you? Being protective is fine, but let him have his freedom."

Ei sighed in defeat, knowing she couldn't prevail against her kitsune wife. She's only afraid about her son doing some fireworks when he's only a year old, but she wants her son to have the freedom he needs.

"Fine," she replied in the end. "Now get off my lap, I need to clean my desk," Ei chuckled, but Miko refused, hugging Ei and snuggling her face into the crook of Ei's neck.

"Let's stay like this for a while," she mumbled. "We haven't had any alone time in a long time,"

"Mama," Scaramouche said, pointing to the Nagonahara Fireworks shop.

Ei, who was holding her son and was accompanied by her wife, approached the blonde girl who was adjusting something. "Good evening, Yoimiya,"

"A-ah!" Yoimiya exclaimed. "G-good evening, your Excellency, and lady Guuji Yae," she smiled as she gazed at the boy on the archon's arm. "Are you excited for the fireworks, Scara?" she said, smiling.

Scaramouche nodded and giggled so loudly that everyone around them couldn't help but stare at the archon's son. He was the perfect mix of Ei and Miko; he was flawless, and everyone adored him.

"Is that....fireworks safe?" Ei inquired, and Yoimiya grinned.

"It is, your Excellency!" she exclaimed, laughing. "However, if you still have concerns, I can accompany you and your family and light the fireworks for you, and you'll just have to sit back and enjoy the fireworks," she said.

"Well, then, I'll ask you to accompany my son; he wants to light the fireworks as well, so I'll have to rely on you," Ei sighed, she can't say no to her kid, it's her weakness whenever Scaramouche pleads.

Yoimiya and their son were down below, putting up the fireworks, while Ei and Miko climbed the hill of Amakane island. They set up three distinct sets of fireworks down below, and Ei kept a close eye on them.

She set up certain timings for the fireworks with a little tinkering so they could hike up on the hill and enjoy the view with them.

Scaramouche becomes worried as the four of them wait for the fireworks to light up; what if it doesn't work? His anxieties vanished as Miko held him and let Scaramouche sit on her lap, and there they saw the fireworks finally lit up, exploding with various brilliant colors and shapes of each fireworks launching. Scaramouche shouted with delight and burst out laughing. Ei was captivated by the scene; she had no idea that fireworks might enhance Inazuma's beauty.

Miko's best view is right next her, her wife mesmerized by the pyrotechnics. She smiled at it, delighted that she had Ei and a kid with her. This day will undoubtedly be remembered, and she will cherish and remember it till the day she dies.
