Sorry for making the reason that they have different last names stupid, I couldn't come up with anything better.
"Hinata-kun?" Komaeda asked, entering his room.
"Yeah?"
"I, uhm, I bought something." He said, holding out a box to Hinata.
"What is it?"
"A friendship bracelet kit. I wanted to ask if you wanted to make some with me. You don't have to, of course! Even if you do, you don't have to wear it or anything! I understand that-"
"Stop that. I do want to." He pat the space on his bed next to him and Komaeda sat down.
"Alright, thank you." He smiled at Hinata and opened the box. "Here, take one of these strings,"
Hinata did as he was told. They both started putting beads on the stirngs. Komaeda tied knots into them and they were done. "Ta-da!" He grinned, handing Hinata his bracelet.
"Yours is really pretty. Have you done this before?" Hinata asked.
Komaeda nodded. "I really like crafting and stuff... even if it's a bit childish,"
Hinata chuckled. "Nothing wrong with that." He put on the bracelet. Komaeda did the same.
"Also, uhm... I had a question," the pale boy began. "It might be kinda weird, but I don't have bad intentions or anything! I'm just curious!"
"What is it?"
"Uhm... is Enoshima-san your girlfriend?"
"No. She'd like to be, but she isn't. She's just a creep," Hinata said.
"You don't like her?"
He shook his head. "Not at all." Hinata got up from his bed and strechted. Then, they heard voices from downstairs.
"Hajime! Komaeda-kun! Come quick!" Souta called out. They both hurried downstairs to see what was going on. There stood a boy who looked similar to Hinata. He had long, dark hair and red eyes. He seemed bored.
"Oh... Izuru," Hinata said. He sounded dissapointed.
"Isn't it nice of him to visit us?" Hanako asked, smiling brightly.
"Who are you?" The boy, Izuru, asked Komaeda.
"Oh-! I, uhm... mm..." The other man's gaze was really intimidating. "Komaeda Nagito..." He whispered.
"And why are you here?"
"Komaeda lives here. He's my friend," Hinata said, crossing his arms.
"I see. I am Kamukura Izuru. Hajime's twin brother,"
"Uhh... why do you guys have different last names?" Komaeda asked.
"Oh," Hanako began. "We couldn't decide what names we wanted for our children, so we went with Souta's last name for Hajime and my family name for Izuru,"
"I see." Komaeda nodded. "Well, it's nice to meet you Kamukura-kun,"
Kamukura simply nodded.
Later that day, Hinata sat in Komaeda's room, complaining about his brother. "He always acts so cool and like he's better than me! I hate it! E-everyone likes him more than me! Only because he's good at everything and he makes fun of me for it! He's an asshole and no one sees it," He said. Komaeda frowned.
"Maybe it's a misunderstanding between you two. I've heard that siblings often tease each other for fun. Maybe he went too far but doesn't notice it,"
"I've told him several times. He's just a dick for no reason!"
"I'm sure you can talk it out with him." Komaeda smiled.
"As if." Hinata got up. "Stupid fucking idiot. I hate him,"
"Where was he anyway? Shouldn't he be in school with you?"
Hinata shook his head. "Izuru's too good for that. Dude goes to some school for geniuses, so he already moved out,"
"Oh... that's so early. I couldn't imagine leaving my parents... that... early..." Komaeda trailed off. "Never mind, I suppose I can. I... uhm, anyway! How about we try to hang out with Izuru? Maybe he'll be nicer if he notices that you care about him,"
"But I don't." He huffed.
Komaeda shook his head. "I'm sure that's not true. If he died, would you be sad?"
"Ugh... stupid question..."
"Would you?"
"I guess..." He rolled his eyes.
"See? I told you!" He grinned. "Also! Kuzuryuu-kun gave me three tickets for ice skating. He said he got them as a gift, but he doesn't even like ice skating. Maybe we could go there together with Kamukura-kun in a few days,"
"Hm. Ice skating sounds pretty fun. I did it a lot when I was younger,"
"Alright, I'll go ask your brother then!" Komaeda said.
"Don't expect him to agree though,"
"Yeah, yeah,"
Komaeda knocked on the door of Kamukura's room and went inside. "What do you want?" The other man asked.
The pale boy looked everywhere but at him. He was super nervous. "Do you wanna go ice skating with Hinata-kun and I?"
"Hah. He'll just embarrass himself,"
"What?"
"He's not good at that,"
"So?" Komaeda asked.
"What 'so'? Why would he do it if he sucks at it?"
"Because it might be fun,"
"Nothing is fun,"
"Uh..."
"Epecially when you do it with Hajime. He makes everything worse,"
"No, he doesn't." Komaeda crossed his arms. "Hinata-kun is-"
"I've known him longer than you have,"
"I don't get why you guys hate each other..."
Kamukura rolled his eyes. "I hate him because he acts like a jealous little kid. All he does is pity himself,"
"Not even true..." Komaeda muttered.
"You disagree with me because he's kind to you, I understand that, but you don't know what he's like to me," Kamukura stated.
"But... I mean like... he can't be that bad..."
"Komaeda, try to put yourself in my shoes. My whole life, he's been nothing but jealous all because I'm more talented than him,"
Komaeda frowned. "I mean... I'd be jealous too if I had a brother who was more talented. It's only natural,"
"It's annoying." Kamukura hissed. "He doesn't realize how good his life is,"
