When the Thunderbolt finally reappeared, he looked exhausted.
"So, is it done?" Mike asked.
"Yeah, but honestly, I cannot remember the last time I was this tired. Seriously, I think being inactive for so long made me rusty. But anyways, I need a power nap, so if you'll excuse me." The Thunderbolt said.
"Actually, do you think you have it in you for maybe two more wishes?" Mike asked.
"That depends, how big are they?" Thunderbolt asked, even though he sounded exhausted.
"Don't worry, they're both really simple ones. The first one is that I wish that all of Courtney's injuries were healed." Mike said and the Thunderbolt sighed in relief.
"No problem, you're right, that is an easy one." the Thunderbolt said as he snapped his fingers and suddenly Courtney felt all her injuries magically heal.
"Thanks Mike. But what was the other wish you had?" Courtney asked.
"I wish the Thunderbolt would give me all the information I need to be a tour guide for this place, since he looks too exhausted to walk us through the tour himself." Mike said.
"As you wish, but after that, try not to need me for a few days, because I'm gonna need some serious recharge time." the Thunderbolt said as he rushed through MIke and then slinked back into the pen, which vanished, likely to make sure that Mike couldn't call on him until he recharged.
"So, did it work?" Courtney asked as she flexed her formerly injured arm to make sure it was fully healed.
"Yep. Follow me." Mike said as he led them to the backroom of the Pit Stop, where a new door had formed behind Stripe.
"Let's see what the Thunderbolt made us." Yolanda said as Mike opened the door to reveal a staircase that led downwards.
As Mike led them through the base, Courtney had to admit, the Thunderbolt had definitely more than done its job this time, since this base looked like a flatter version of the old JSA base located in Civic City.
"Man, the Thunderbolt did a real nice job here." Carter said what they were all thinking.
"Yeah he did. I mean seriously, he went above and beyond." Courtney agreed.
"Yeah, I mean, he included everything I wished for to a tee. So far we've already seen the garage/hangar, which is likely where dad can store Stripe instead of trying to hide him in the back room of his shop and fully stocked infirmary." Mike said, since he was serving as their tour guide.
"Yeah, something tells me we'll definitely be needing that." Courtney said, since they couldn't count on the Thunderbolt for healing every time.
"More than likely. What else do we have here?" Pat asked.
"Well, up next is an actual science lab that I guess you and Rick's dad can use to build and maintain our gear." Mike said, since Rex was still kind of the team's resident scientist, even if he didn't go into the field anymore.
"Nice. But do we have a place to put Cindy?" Courtney asked, since Carter currently had said girl tossed over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes, her hands and feet were restrained, though she was still unconscious thanks to Mike's wish for her to remain unconscious.
"Yeah, follow me." Mike said as he led them to the far end of the base, there was clearly a cell block there.
"Each cell is controlled by a palm scan that only members of the JSA can activate." Mike said, and then to test it, Courtney walked over to the closest cell and placed her hand on the scanner, which lit up green and read Courtney Whitmore aka Stargirl, approved, and then they heard an unlocking sound as the cell door slid upwards into the ceiling.
"Okay, toss her in. We'll wake her up when the Thunderbolt's recovered." Courtney said and the others nodded as Carter rather unceremoniously tossed Cindy into the cell, which Courtney then closed and relocked as Mike continued with the tour.
After dropping Cindy off in the cells, Mike showed the JSA their new meeting room, a fully stocked up lounge for them to just hang out in, along with several training rooms for the team to practice in, and he also showed them how just like each member of the original JSA team had their own workspace in the old JSA base, so did each of them. Beth's area was basically a huge computer lab for her to use her goggles in and better learn how to hone her computer skills. Hector got a library specifically designed to help him learn how to control the powers of the helmet of fate, Yolanda got her own personal gym that was designed to be able to withstand her claws and also practice her boxing style and it had a banner of Ted Grant, not Wildcat, but him as a boxer, since Grant had been Yolanda's hero long before she'd become his successor. Pat of course had the garage with Stripe as his workspace, the Hawks got a workspace similar to their old one at the old JSA, Mike's was basically his own personal hangout room that was designed to withstand whatever he had the Thunderbolt wish up and be able to contain any side effects as well. Basically it was a safe space for him to practice his wishing. Rick got a sort of hybrid of a lab, a mechanic's garage and a workout room, since he was a bit of all three. Jenni got a room that kind of looked like a dance studio, since it turned out she was actually a very skilled dancer and it did help her learn to keep her mind clear as she learned to use her ring. And finally, Courtney got what looked like a gymnastics studio, designed to allow her to indulge her gymnastics past while also allowing her to work on her skills with her staff. But there was still one last room on the tour.
"What's in here?" Courtney asked as they arrived at the last room.
"The last thing you asked for." Mike said as he led them inside to reveal it was the memorial room Courtney had asked Mike to include, since the room was surrounded by mannequins, each one wearing a different replica suit of one of the original JSA members, along with a plaque that read in memory of that specific hero. The memorials in place were for Starman, Dr. Midnite, Spectre, Green Lantern, Wildcat, Sandman, Johnny Thunder and Dr. Fate. The only ones missing were the Flash, Stripesy, Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Hourman, but that was most likely because they were still alive.
"It's perfect. A way to remember all of the fallen heroes. Now, let's get back to work. Mike, see if the Thunderbolt has enough energy to wake Cindy up, because I think it's time for some answers." Courtney said and Mike nodded.
