Amitys pov
We had just pulled in the drive way of the garage they used to record and play their music "Are you sure we aren't intruding like I can wait for tomorrow" I just laughed at Luz's nervousness "Come on you'll be fine and no Emira and vin haven't been able to do anything since edrick quit being their lead singer he's just on drums" I told her hearing a gulp I just laughed as I pulled her in my the hand on knowing well my face was red from the contact

We made our way into the room where we heard the music booming it was enough to bust someone's ear drums but we were all used to it by now "Hey mittens!" I groaned at the stupid nickname "Guys this is Luz" she waved "Uh hi"

Emira was quick to put her elbow on the top of my head Edric following after making me sigh "Okay sup newbie, what's so important about her mittens?" I rolled my eyes and ducked down making them almost bump heads "She is here to audition for lead singer, Aren't ya Luz"

I could see her nervous smile appear "totally" both of my siblings got excited "Far out, we needed a singer since Edster quit on us!" Viney said shoving his arm a bit making him groan annoyance filling his voice "Could you blame me my whole reputation was on the line and mom didn't care too much for her son being a lead singer" he said going back to his drum set I rolled my eyes knowing he was right

Mom was actually one of the reasons why he quit. Why we quit most things we enjoyed, dad was very supportive of us with whatever we chose but mom saw it as some sort of weakness every time we got to do something we loved. It wasn't that he hated being the lead singer it's just the backlash he received from being in the spotlight.

Luz had grabbed something out of her bag to what looked to be a book "Can you guys read music?" Both Ed and Viney nodded "I need a guitar if you will?" Viney smiled as she nodded "Yeah I can do that" I saw Luz smile as she gave edric a piece of paper, he smiled and nodded getting his drum sticks ready. I waved at her as we went back to the record room "Apparently she wrote this herself" Emira said as she read it "Damn this is pretty good so far" I smiled "Wait till you hear her sing it"

Luz pov
I could feel the nervousness clouding my thoughts this was the first time I would be singing in front of people let alone my own song. I saw Emira give me a thumbs up telling me I could start whenever I was ready I breathed in looking at viney then back at Amity something about seeing her made me feel just a bit better as I took a deep breath giving viney and edric the okay to start. once started I gently closed my eyes visioning just her there. I begin to feel the weight on my chest become less heavy

Hearing Edric now on the drums I started to loosen up, now hearing him in the background as I tapped my foot as he joined me in some parts as the drums started to beat faster I made this song while I was starting to get over her. Tears started to prick at my eyes as I sung my heart out.

The yell was always my favorite part we still had a few more verses before the song was over I heard edric matching my pitch but just a little deeper as hummed

When it finally came to the end I was panting I looked up out of breath seeing Emira she had her hands together in a praying type manner in front of her mouth. I caught my breath looking over then was knocked over with a hug "You made it!!" I looked down upon seeing Amity she was smiling "You did it Luz my sister was so impressed with your performance you did great!" She said with her hands on my face I blushed hard "oh.. wow..music"

Everyone started to laugh, which I ended up joining in as well "So, you want to be a part of our band?" I smiled and nodded not paying attention to the girl still hugging me while we were on the floor "Hey mittens think you can let our star singer go?" I chuckled "Nope, sorry Ed" I hugged back "At least can we get off the floor?" At this she agreed to

Edrics pov
It was odd seeing my little sister with someone let alone hugging them don't get me wrong she hugged her friends but she always let go with Luz she didn't "Okay, Amity I can't walk like  this so just hop on my back of something" Amity was hugging Luz by the waist and everywhere she went Amity went too. My younger sister didn't hesitate to hop on Luz back which my twin sister protested to "No mittens get down we get that you two are dating but-" amity quickly went red in the face "We aren't dating!" I looked at Luz and judging by the look on her face her grip was too tight she tapped Amity's elbow "c-cant bre-ath!"

She quickly let lose and Luz was gasping "Jeez Amity your stronger than you look" I watched as Amity smiled "But seriously we aren't dating I met her not even a few days ago" I frowned at this even Emira and Viney we're bummed "Well since cuties not taken then I guess I can take her off your hands" I chuckled at what em was doing "No way back off!" I grabbed my phone deciding to record the little kiddy fight over Luz

It was so amusing watching as Amity went to stand in front of the girl, I hadn't noticed until now that Luz was pretty tall for a teenage girl Amity reached to her chin I found it cute but I guess some didn't such as my baby sister who was about to attack

Luz pov
I watched as the two argued Amity was about to claw Emira's eyes out I chuckled some, 'Shes like a little kitten' I thought to myself, I rested my chin on Amitys head making her instantly stop as I slid my arms around her torso "Your lucky I like you blight I don't get this way with others"

This made her brother look at me with a questionable look "I'm being honest" he nodded and spoke "But I think you broke mittens" I stopped hugging her and put my hand on her forehead and made her look up "h-hi Luz" she said with a grin "Nah she's fine"

I said seeing that she was able to communicate fine I saw Emira shake her head "But what did you mean by I'm not like this with others?" She asked, I just put my chin back on Amity's head shrugging "I'm not this way"

I said pointing at Amity "Where I want to be around people, let alone be affectionate. Friends don't seem to be something I ever want to have, but for some odd reason I'm fine with being near you guys" I felt Amity shift her head as she looked at me "So we are your friends?"

I rolled my eyes "No, your sacrifices to the king of demons of course Amity" she chuckled "King of demons?" I smirked some "It's something me an one of my childhood friends made up" she nodded "You must have been a very imaginative person when you where young"

I smiled "Yeah hunt and I used to go on all sorts of adventures we were never apart so much that he became more of a brother to me" her eyebrows scrunched up "Hunt?"

I nodded "yeah well that's his nickname his actual name is hunter" she nodded looking puzzled for a second she went to speak when the door came open

"I'm backkkkk!"

"HUNTER!" Willow and I both said at the same time he looked at me and his eyes started to tear up
