Amity pov
The twins had insisted that we get a DJ and a bunch of other things that they saw on the internet that kids had at parties was I interested in any of the things they said you may ask?

No.

But was I going to ruin their fun of making this in their words 'The best birthday ever'

Also no.

I sighed I wasn't big on huge parties but Luz would be here and she said she was bringing Albert which made me happy since he seemed to grow attached to me some i smiled as I saw her through the window she held Albert's hand while his other held a small box, he looked so cute he wore a little button up with suspenders and a little tie I smirked at how determined he looked, Luz on the other hand held no expression on her face she carried what I assumed was a present for me

Did she even know me well enough to get me something? I shook my head as I studied her outfit it was very Luz she wore a black turtleneck which was tucked into a pair of blue jeans I smiled seeing how excited Albert was to get inside the house pulling her some I think she felt someone watching her because she looked in my direction making me quickly move away from the window as if I had just simply passed it going to my closet

I needed to find an outfit for today and for some reason I felt the absolute need to dress up, I applied my eyeliner going into my closet to pick out an outfit deciding on an off  Striped Knitted shirt with a pair of black leggings and black combat boots I stepped to my mirror doing a little turn I smiled

Edrics pov

As me and em waited for mittens to get down here we greeted the guests welcoming them and telling them to enjoy their stay I heard Luz's voice and chuckled when I saw her younger brother rushing her in the house "come on Albert she's not going anywhere!" She sighed giving him a stern look making the boy pout

"Hey al!" I said making him smile at the nickname "Why don't you come hang out with me and em give Miss moody here a break?" He nodded enthusiastically breaking away from Luz's hand much to her satisfaction

"Thank you ed" she muttered

We just nodded we liked Luz she always made mittens a little bit nicer even if it wasn't all that much I swung the younger boy making him laugh "Mittens is upstairs maybe you can get her to come down Romeo?" Luz just rolled her eyes "I guess I can go up to get the birthday girl for you guys not like I've got anything better to do"

We nodded telling Albert to follow us for some snacks and cookies

luz's pov: 

I walked up the stairs to amitys room knocking before walking in just in case she was changing, "Hey amity it's luz your siblings said to come get you" i heard a muffled "Okay" I opened the door slightly my mouth falling as I looked at her "you look stunning" she placed a piece of hair behind her "do you like it?" Amity asked walking over to Luz "I just said I did dummy" chuckles left Luz as she stood by the door "the twins said to escort you down that everyone's here" Amity nodded "well let's go"

Luz and Amity were having a great time at Amity's birthday party. The two were chatting and laughing, enjoying each other's company. As the night progressed, they found themselves dancing to a song it wasn't a fast paced song it was rather slow "I didn't know you knew how to dance?" Amity whispered "You don't know a lot about me and the main thing you never asked" Amity rolled her eyes locking them back on Luz.

Luz leaned in close to Amity, her heart racing with anticipation. She had been waiting for this moment for what felt like forever. And just as their lips were about to touch, a bang interrupted their time. Then there was yelling.
