Luz pov
So apparently there was this party happening that the twins were planning, and they wanted me to play one of my songs I had been working on

I honestly felt nervous about the whole thing, what would I even wear to it all, and was I really ready to show that to countless strangers I don't even know.

I felt a tap on my shoulder “Hey class is over come on” I got out of my trance looking to see it was Amity “oh yeah let's go” this was our usual routine aside from Ed jumping on my back “ED A WARNING WOULD BE NICE” I said frustrated he just smiled and rubbed his cheek on my face “But where's no fun on that now is there oh did you get the song I asked for done?” I blushed, “Yeah and never again”.

He smiled “Good because we are going to perform it along with the other one you're singing” if my face could be any redder it would be “Most certainly not that song is too much for me!” He smirked “Mittens is curious” I looked over at Amity “Your lovely brother had me write a song for him” I said, giving her my songbook before trying to take it back nearly forgetting what was in there that she most importantly couldn't see.

Ed finally got off me and grabbed it from Amity and ran off with it, “ED COME BACK HERE SOME OF THAT HAS PRIVATE INFORMATION!!!”

oh no, he's going to see the love song I wrote about Amity, I ran after him panicking “Ed, please give me back my songbook, the bells about to ring” he laughed and pushed my head back “what's so bad that you're not wanting me to see” I went to try to snatch it just for someone else to grab it hunter

I watched as hunter smacked Ed on the head with my book before giving it to me, “What have I said about you bullying my little sister?” I left as Ed got scolded by hunter, “thanks hunt!!” He gave me a peace sign.

Amity's pov
While watching Luz and my brother act like children I saw a red tint to her face, this made me very curious on to why she was blushing did that songbook have a secret crush or something or maybe a Luz had a secret she doesn't want anyone finding out

I was brought out of my thoughts when I bummed into someone “s-sorry didn't mean to-” it was Josh “it's okay sweetheart” he said extending his hand towards me not wanting to be rude I took it as he helped me up “So will I be seeing you at the party your siblings are planning?” He asked, I felt eyes on us, “Well yes my siblings won't let me miss it why?” Josh smirked and put a finger under my chin, “just making sure”.

I wanted to puke his breath smelled so bad, but that would be rude, so I just smiled nervously “heh yeah well see you I really must be going” he blew a kiss and winked, making me almost actually throw up “that was so gross” I said quietly “you can say that again” I looked up to see Luz giving him the stink eye.

I chuckled, “You seriously don't like him, do you?” She shook her head no and signalled us to both to take our seats before the bell rang, I followed hearing the bell sound about five minutes after.

The teacher had given us group work, but Luz was focused on anything but the work we were supposed to do, “Do you like him?” I turned to her with a grossed expression on my face “Luz no that's seriously offensive that you would think me of all people would like a boy” this caught her attention “You are gay?” She whispered, I nearly burst out laughing but nodded pulling up my sleeve showing her the lesbian bracelet.

Her eyes widened as she saw it, which made me smile “me gay too” I cocked an eyebrow “bisexual” I brightened some does this mean I have a chance now? “Although I have a high preference for girls” I smiled “Good to know” he nodded some smiling that cute lopsided smile.

Time skip

It was already late in the evening the party was about to start in an hour I still had to get ready, I decided to go with my usual look. I chose a black shirt with the words “I've put a spell on you” some ripped jeans and a denim jacket and a beanie I got from Ed and em on my birthday it was heavily outdated, but it would work my some eye shadow and eyeliner and some piercings a choker and a bracelet to match.

I looked good. Turning to look at myself in the mirror I felt great Luz is bound to- wait no I can't be dressing up just to make me stand out in front of Luz who knows I may not even be her type…

I was brought out of my thoughts when my alarm went off reading “time to head out” I got my keys and shut the door locking if before leaving knowing the twins were already there since their rooms were pitch black.

I got a text from Luz while I was buckling my seatbelt

Luzura: hey Ammy think you can pick me up, hunter ended up having to work🙄

I chuckled at the fact that he bailed on us typical hunter

Me: yeah, I'll be there in a few, see you then!!

Luzura: see you❤️

I blushed at the heart at the end but took at her just being friendly

Luz pov
I had just gotten out of the shower when Amity told me she was coming I had to get dressed and ready my hair was more fluffy than usual today perks of using a hair dryer? Maybe

I went with a monster energy drink shirt with sleeves being cut off a red and black flannel and some blue jeans I was currently getting my pants on buttoning them when I heard my door slightly open “hey Lu- AH SORRY SO SORRY” I looked over to see Amity her hands covering her eyes and her face a blushing mess

She shut the door, making me feel confused, had she never seen someone in a sports bra before? Or maybe she was a shy person I shrugged putting my shirt over my head and getting my shoes on “Edaaa I'm heading out with-” eda quickly cut me off “Yeah yeah I already know the blight I know just don't do anything too stupid!” I smiled as I went to find Amity in her car.

She seemed tense some as I got in “hey stranger” I said with a smile “hey um look about me barging in on you, I'm sorry eda said to just go up, and I didn't think to knock” I shook my head “I don't mind really it's not like you saw me without my underwear or something” she sighed “okay good because I was about to see if Ed could bring you in case you got upset” I shook my head “If you ever make him drive me anywhere I will personally kill you in your sleep”

She laughed at this but agreed her lovely brother liked to sometimes play Oprah music and couldn't pick just one song, so he would play one then switch it every five seconds “So what's playing today?” I smirked at her question, “eager to hear it?” I said holding a CD that had most of my songs thanks to Emira “yes please!”

I took out her Metallica CD and placed it carefully in its case, sliding mine in and changing it to the correct number. The radio instantly coming to life with one of my rock songs, not wanting to give away the main one…
