"Adam... I... I.. how.."

"Errum, I know what I want is too much, I know it's.. it's not fair on my part to ask you for it. But I have no other choice. I have to do this. And I need you. I need you to trust me on this one, and please, please co-operate."

Errum arched her brows, lost in deep thought. Adam's heart was beating so fast he could swear he was hearing it. For once, he even felt sorry for Errum, and felt like dropping the plan. It was hard, cruel, disgusting, shallow and horrible of him. Would he ever be able to look at the mirror again? Would he ever be able to look at himself the same?

Probably not. But he had no other option. This was for his only family. And this, was for Errum too. He pulled himself together. He had to convince Errum, and he just...had to execute the plan no matter what. A lot was at stake here.

He gently placed his hands on Errum's and gave it a light squeeze. Manipulating her was the only way they were gonna come out of this mess in one piece. Someone had to suffer, and it had to be Errum. Why? Because among all of them she was the only one who had no life. Adam sighed. It stung, as most truths. But Errum was the only one whose suffering was the best way to do some damage control. She was at a horrible place in her life anyway, degrading a little more surely wouldn't hurt?

He locked eyes with her, trying to show as much emotion as possible. He knew the affect it had on her. Errum looked back at him, with teary eyes and he pulled her into a hug, while Errum sobbed softly into his hoodie.

"You okay? I'm so sorry. I'm asking... Asking for so much. I know. It's horrible of me. But..trust me I have to do this and it can't be done without you."

Adam prayed to God she was convinced, and gently patted her back. She sat up straight, wiped away her tears and looked into his eyes with iron clad determination.

"I will... do... For you."

Adam smiled and happily pulled her into another hug.

Two days later

Adam walked through the hallways, discussing the upcoming soccer game with Kevin. However, he was only half listening, his thoughts still revolving around Errum. He kept absent mindedly checking his phone after every two seconds.

Was the work done? He wondered. It's already been 3 days since his interaction with Errum. He was pretty sure he would know if it was done, the people would've been talking about it, but there was nothing so far on the Internet. He sighed and tried to pay attention to Kevin but failed miserably.

"Bruh.. what's up with you, huh? It's a soccer game for God's sake? You used to leap up and down whenever we uttered the word in front of you and look at you now, you're just..not here."

"I'm sorry I've been a little distracted lately."

"By what, Adam? I thought we were bros? But it's like..it's like I don't even know you anymore. You go on and propose that crazy witch and remain distracted for like..the next week. I want to know, and you're gonna tell me. Why are you doing this? What's bothering you? What made you propose that witch because I ain't buying any of that love shit. You don't fall in love with a weirdo in days. And I know you so just spit it."

Adam sighed and his shoulders slumped, debating in his head whether to let Kevin in or not.

"Wait....is this about the tape- OMG this is about the tape, isn't it?"

Adam nodded slowly.

"I fucking knew Devon was gonna be an asshole with you like he always did. What did he tell you? What did he want? Did he force you for something? Did-"

Kevin's words hung mid air as both of them turned to Errum stomping her feet through the hallway, her face red hot with anger, tears streaming down her face. The hallway stood and watched, many bringing out their phone out of their pockets to capture this great moment. As Errum furiously approached him, Adam's mouth went dry. Shit.

As soon as she came to the boys, she slapped hard on Adam's face.

Everyone gasped audible, as they both remained fixated there, unable to move with shock. She slapped him hard, again.

Adam's ears began to ring, his face hot with shame, anger and guilt. His hands pressed his cheek where Errum had left her finger prints. By this time Kevin woke up from his trance and as soon as Errum tried to slap him for the third time, he tackled her.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING BITCH! STOP HITTING MY FRIEND!" Kevin screamed as he stopped her from moving further.

"You...YOU! YOU! ADA- ADAM! YOU! HATE. HATE. YOU. YOU. BAD. HATE. I WILL...WILL...KILL YOU! KILL YOU!" Errum tried her best to move past Kevin and hit Adam again, but he was simply too strong to be fought.

With eyes bulging out of his socket, Adam could feel cold sweat all over his body. Looking at Errum's face was impossible right now.

No matter how hard she screamed or how hard she tried, Kevin wasn't the one to budge. He stood there like a wall protecting his best friend from a crazy woman.

Feeling helpless, Errum retracted her steps, and slowly, gently sobbed into her sleeves. The mute spectators left a sigh, the recording on going, many going live.

Then suddenly, without a warning, a steel chair came crashing down on Kevin's head.

A/N: y'all..this was all a facade *cries in Adam Phill*.

Adam did not turn out to be the man we wanted him to be for Errum. HOW SAD.

Also..poor KEVIN :(
