"Where are the results of the second autopsy, Harris?" Eyzah enquired as they walked through the hallway.
"I'll call and find out. Toxicology report is gonna take a bit long. And, congratulations, we've got our murderer," Jake grinned.
"Well let's not get ahead of ourselves. For all we know, the DNA test could come out negative. Or, the toxicology report might not show an excess of Potassium in the body at all. What if this black coat guy was just a random guy carrying potassium around in his pockets?"
"We'll see. But my instincts say this is it. If Errum didn't do it, this black coat guy killed her. Though I'm still hella confused. The story doesn't add up. Why would the murderer carry potassium in their coat?"
Eyzah furrowed her eyebrows and bit her lips.
"That's the thing. What is the significance of this potassium? I guess the forensics will let us know if there was excessive levels of potassium in the body, if the potassium they carried was actually used on Mrs. Hassan or not. That should be enough to tie black coat guy to the murder."
"Hm... you're as clever as they say, then," Jake winked.
"Basic procedures," Eyzah shrugged, "autopsy reports usually do not calculate the level of potassium in the body. So it is very probable that the forensics missed what black coat guy injected to her body."
"Isn't that bad news for your Babycakes?" Jake grinned.
Eyzah cringed at his choice of words.
"Shut up and go station some officers at our suspect's house after they're done collecting the DNA samples. I don't want them slipping out of our fingers. Also make sure you call up the lab and speed up the reports. And if you find anything, call me, okay?"
"Will do, Cap!" Jake said as he jogged towards the exit, waving a salute to Eyzah.

Eyzah stood in front of her murder board. She added the phrase "Why Potassium?" and gave a long look to the board.
If the perp pushed Mrs. Hassan, suppose with gloves, that explains the absence of additional prints on her clothes. But why, why inject her with potassium?
The toxicology report was going to take long. But something told her the potassium isn't there for nothing. Mrs. Hassan was injected with potassium. When? Probably before the fall. Why? Does it make a person dizzy? Make it easy to kill?
Before she could give it any further thought, Jake knocked.
"Any updates, Harris?"
"I'm afraid not, Malik. I did station the officers and the samples have been collected. Suspect did call in one hell of an irritating lawyer though, but that's been taken care of. So I thought I'll just come here and brain storm with you, considering there's nothing much to do except waiting for the reports now."
"Don't you have other cases to focus on?"
"None as big as this one. I'm procrastinating, babeh. Also, I brought you some sandwiches and coffee as black and dark as your soul."
Eyzah shook her head in mock pity and grabbed a sandwich. She didn't realize she was this hungry. She had left from Harry's house at 5 in the morning, headed for the search, and didn't have breakfast amidst all the chaos.
"I've been raking my brains here, Malik. There's literally no other option here. I've conducted a search in 2km radius, interrogated every single neighbor, suspect twice. This is the only lead we have. Pray to God this turns out to be fruitful, or we're as good as dead."
