"I needed Errum to be completely devoted to me like she always was, to make this work. On the outside, I was the dear loving and caring sister she knew all her life. But to implement what I really wanted, I introduced a new character. The Red Saint."

Errum tensed beside Sean and he gave her a soft pat on her arms.

"I got the idea and the name from a book I was reading then. I bought a red oversized raincoat to hide my real size, wore a mask to keep my face well hidden, and wore glasses to make myself unrecognizable. And whenever I had bad days or just felt like unleashing my anger, I tortured Errum. As much as I wanted to. And when she complained to me about someone in a red raincoat oppressing her, I convinced her that it was mum."

Errum brought a hand to her face as the words started to sink in. Tears began to stream down her face and she couldn't bring herself to look at the demon's face that was her sister's.

"It wasn't even hard. She was that gullible. I knew Errum only had me, and so the only human being that would ever know about what I did, was me. It was going all fine. I vent my anger on Errum, and she hated mum in return. I robbed mum of the only person she ever wanted in her life," she curled her lips.

"As much as mum cared about Errum, she wasn't present. So she barely noticed Errum curling up in a ball in her drunken hungover and cocaine-high eyes. But it became a problem when she started to try bonding with Errum after joining that stupid anti addiction support group. She started to notice Errum being shaky and nervous all the time, her temper, her Aphasia and her weird ass pathetic life as a whole. And one day, she noticed the scars. She didn't guess it was me right away, and so she went on a murder spree to find out who was doing all that to her darling daughter but didn't find anyone. I think she even put up a fight with that nasty bully. Never mind. I was good in pretending to be as concerned as her, and that helped me stay out of her radar for years. As the only person Errum confided in, she legit thought I was helping her find the real culprit by keeping a tab on her and all that. I was that good," she held her head high in pride.

"I was up for any work that'd destroy her and her lovely daughter. So when she started to fuck Mr. Phills, the father of dear Errum's childhood love, I knew I had struck gold with that one."

Mr. Phills and Adam, looked down at their laps, their faces flustered.

"From the town gossip I got to know about Devon, the bully mum had punched. I knew he was up for revenge, and so I reached out to him online anonymously with an offer. I sent him a photo of Mum and Mr. Phills being intimate, and promised him a whole tale of them sleeping together if he gave me Errum's tape in return. He agreed instantly and I got to work, secretly hiding cameras when mum was away. In some way, he made Adam take away Errum's virginity and sent me the tape. I had resources to incriminate both of them. I felt so, so powerful."

As Alayna's eyes glistened with admiration for herself, Eyzah simply shook her head, astound at what a low life this woman was.

"I was about to make the clips go viral when...mum found out about what I did to Errum. She saw someone come out of the warehouse in the red raincoat followed by a distraught and hurt Errum. She quietly followed me, as I reached my room and pulled off my mask. And so she confronted me, threatened to call the cops on me. I was afraid she'd actually do that, so I made this whole act of begging and apologizing. She let me go.

But I knew she wasn't convinced I would leave Errum alone after all that. I had no idea what she was upto. I was confused what to do next, if I should leak the photos and videos now. when I overheard a conversation between Mum and Phills. He planned on marrying mum, and they planned on moving in together somewhere far. Without me. She couldn't stop rambling on and on about how she wanted to build a new life near the shore etc. etc. I was doomed. They were going to leave for their happy beginning, and I'd be left in this dirty old town all by myself.

I wasn't going to let that happen, obviously. So I formed another plan. I decided that I've had enough of indirectly punishing both of them. The new beginning was going to be mine, not theirs. I decided to finish this tale once and for all.

Mum will be dead, and Errum will be the one to blame. That was my plan. Killing Mum wasn't that hard, what I needed to do was convince Errum to do it. I once read in a Reddit post that use of Potassium causes death by cardiac arrest, and even the toxicology reports do not notice an excess of potassium levels in body. A little bit of research and it was all confirmed. So I bought doses of intravenous potassium. It was hard convincing the chemist, but a hundred Euros did the trick. But the problem was, I did not trust Errum to push the syringe to her. It had to be done systematically, and plus, if the cops got to know about the potassium they could've traced it back to me. I needed to form a back up plan, a facade to cover the actual story."

The ease with which Alayna delivered the accounts of her misdeeds, of killing her mother in cold blood and brainwashing her sister, it send goosebump through Eyzah's body. She behaved as if she were talking about the weather, or the stock. As if this was nothing.

"And so I decided to convince Errum to push mum from the roof. And if she were alive by then, I would finish her off using the potassium. Errum didn't need much convincing. Just a few words of hope, of how great would it be if mum weren't here, how happy we'd be, new house, new life, forgetting the past, and a few promises. Plus she was going through all that drama with Adam and had to get away from here more than ever. I was elated when she said yes. She was dumb to not think if the cops would get to her. And as much as I hate to admit it, I did not know that old man had a CCTV camera hidden there.

So that day, I called Mum to the roof using a text. Errum was hiding there from beforehand, as usual. I went downstairs, put on the black coat and waited. Within 6 minutes, I heard a loud thud and saw mum's body. As I checked her pulse it was slow but she was still alive. So I injected the potassium and ran away before anyone came to the spot.

And that's...how I killed my mother."
