NOT A THING
It's just like magic (just like magic)
Oh, it's just like magic
Holding me tight, giving me life

"REKI, WAIT!", Y/n exclaimed as she chased Reki towards the hospital despite gasping for air.

Her colleague however only stopped when her small hand grabbed the cuff of his yellow sweatshirt.
"Reki... Please wait for me...", the girl managed to spit, bending over to get as much oxygen into her lungs as possible.

The boy didn't even look at her, he just murmured a "Sorry.".
After a few minutes of silence, Y/n was finally able to speak, "I'm worried about Shadow too, but just going for it... What will you do if visitors can't see him?", she asked him.

No reply. Reki clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.
He was feeling frustrated because he hadn't been there to help his friend in his time of need.

"I know you're hating yourself. But you don't deserve the punishment you're inflicting on yourself.", the colleague gave him an empathic look, "I understand what you're feeling, I've been through it. And I know it won't make you feel any better.".
The redhaired listened intently as her docile voice caressed his eardrums.

"Your friends are waiting for you. I am waiting for you. And Langa deserves some explanations since it's not his fault.", at those words, suddenly, Reki felt his stomach clench.
"You think I don't know it's not Langa's fault?! You think I don't know that I am responsible for all this?!", he barked.
Guilt was devouring him but, at the same time, he didn't want to feel miserable because of his Canadian friend's enormous talent either.

The girl put a hand on his shoulder to get his attention, "No, Reki! That's not what-", she tried to argue, but the redhaired wouldn't let her speak. In fact, he slapped her hand off.
Her colleague then gave her a quick side glance, "Stop looking at me as if you understand me! It's frustrating, I don't want you to read through me!", he continued, irritated, before resuming running towards the hospital.

Y/n sighed, slightly offended, "Wait, Reki!", she still tried to call him, starting to chase him again, but, as soon as she found herself in front of the elevator doors that were closing, she realized that for the moment it was better to leave him alone.

After that, the girl decided to call Langa, reaching him wherever he was, to spend some time with him.
She certainly needed it as this situation was getting on her nerves, she needed to feel some appreciation.
