"SO... YOU TWO ARE a couple now?", asked Mr. Oka, tilting his head curiously to the side as Y/n began to giggle. She tightened her grip on Reki's hand, who was scratching his head in embarrassment, "Yes, we are! And Langa has already given us his support!", she exclaimed, showing him a dazzling smile.
"Ah, these young people of today...", the man then commented, letting a sigh escape from his lips. "Oh, I almost forgot.", he added, pulling an envelope from a drawer of the cashier counter, "These are for you. I know you told me I didn't need to, but you deserved them 'cause you worked hard.".
Y/n opened the envelope with a confused look and, as soon as she noticed that it contained her salary, she let out a surprised squeak. "Use them for the wedding.", Mr. Oka joked, making the faces of the new couple turn a deep red color. "We don't need them!", the girl exclaimed, before giving him back his money and dragging Reki out the door at a supersonic speed.
As soon as she was out of the man's sight, he chuckled, stroking Sketchy's mantle, "I'll let your mother give them to you.", he whispered amused.

"That old man! I can't believe he said that...", the girl sighed as she blushed, then she shrugged. "What were you supposed to get from the dope sketch anyway?", Y/n asked Reki and he panicked. "Um, here... Let's say I have prepared a surprise for you to thank you for the plush.", he said, showing her a brand new skateboard.
"This is all yours! Langa told me yours is pretty old, so I made you a personalized one.", he continued, while his cheeks turned redder. On the board were drawn a black cat and a golden retriever as "Reki" and "Y/n" adorned the space above their heads.
The girl held back her tears of happiness, "Reki, it's... just magnificent. I can understand the symbolism behind the cat perfectly, but why the dog?", she asked curiously. The colleague wasted no time in replying, "Usually, people think that the dog and the cat are bitter enemies, just like the two of us were in the beginning. In reality, they both communicate with body language and often end up becoming friends despite them being polar opposites. Don't you think the same applies to us, too?", he asked her with a smile on his lips, making her giggle.
"I have no idea how it came to your mind, but I think yours was a very sweet gesture, thank you.", Y/n exclaimed, kissing his cheek, and the redhaired certainly did not object, "Then that brain of yours is not completely empty!", she then joked, jumping on the skateboard and starting to dart away from him as she laughed out loud. Reki did the same, "You'll pay for this!", he yelled, laughing back at her. After that, the two headed home together, while the sky was painted of a thousand shades of red and orange as the sun slowly said goodbye.
