MIYA HAD REACHED his limit by now, so, after letting out a frustrated grunt, he escaped from Y/n's embrace and turned to one of the adults, "Let's make him stop, Joe!", he pleaded.
However, a man with a red hat covering his face broke in, "That's useless. Adam won't stop tonight until that boy is taken out.", he stated.

"Who's that?", asked the girl to the ravenette and he replied in a low voice, "He's Snake, the one that Langa will compete against.".
She then threw a glance at the man, "You think Reki will give up that easily?", she commented, wiping her own tears.
A smile appeared on her lips as Langa supported her, "He isn't gonna simply go down, either.", he added.
"And your grounds are...", the man asked the two with a confused expression, "We promised.", they simply said in chorus.

The h/c's heart was beating wildly for a stupid boy who continued to be reckless and who, despite everything, never gave up. But she was fine with that. That was why she had fallen in love with Kyan Reki: he hadn't given up on her either, even if everyone else would've abandoned her in his shoes.

The two challengers resumed speeding on the skateboard, side by side, glaring at each other.
Reki looked doomed, he didn't know what to do anymore.
"I figured out your true nature, so why don't we end it soon?", Adam ironically asked as he was grinning.
He was going to push him off the cliff and the boy had guessed it.

"Dammit! What should I...", Reki wondered, gritting his teeth, "In times like this, what would he...".
A pensive look appeared on his face, "What would Langa be doing?", he asked himself as a flashback of one of his friend's midair tricks vividly came back to his mind.

"Can I... do it?", he thought, feeling the insecurity, that had continued to haunt him for some time now, resurfacing.
After all, he still hadn't been able to kick it out completely. Alone as he was, he didn't think he'd be able to ignore that sense of inferiority.

But was he really all alone?
