Art Auction Battle

Rachel got out of the taxi to hear her boyfriend voice right behind.

"I am surprised to see you here." Chuck said looking at Rachel.

"I am here to buy certain piece of art tonight." Rachel said.

"Me too. The meeting didn't go as planned but going to buy this piece of art for McPherson tonight." Chuck said showing the same piece of art that she is buying.

"Chuck, that is the same photo I am buying." Rachel said.

"Look Sean McPherson like the photos, he has a whole wall full of them. I am buying the photo so it can get me a partner." Chuck said.

"I am buying the photo for something important. I am getting the photo if you like or not. If I win, we get to celebrate, but if I don't win no celebration." Rachel said heading in to get her bidding paddle. Chuck followed her in to get his bidding paddle for tonight.

"May the best one win tonight." Chuck said before walking away.

Later that night, Rachel arrived at the auction in a beautiful dress. She heads inside and spotted Chuck over at the bar. Rachel walked behind Chuck and whispered in his ear.

"Ready to lose to me." Rachel whispered in Chuck's ear.

"I am not losing to you. I know you are buying the photo to find out about your cousin." Chuck said.

"How do you know about that?" Rachel asked.

"I had my PI look into what you were looking." Chuck said.

The auction is about to start and Rachel and Chuck head to the front. Serena saw them arguing about the photo. Rachel and Chuck sit down in the front row of the auction. They started auctioning off the photo they both need.

Rachel rises her paddle to bid on it, then Chuck did the same.

"I am getting the photo, Chuck." Rachel said rising her paddle again.

"I am getting the photo, Rachel. You don't need the photo to look for your cousin. She never came looking for you the last three years." Chuck said rising his paddle again.

"Chuck, you don't need the photo to get a partner. You are Chuck Bass and I believe in you." Rachel said.

They stop rising their paddles to bid and two of them were distracted that they didn't notice the photo was being sold to another buyer.

"Sold $7500 to 9-1-5" the bidder announced. Rachel and Chuck looked at each other shocked.

"I guess we both lost." Rachel said. Rachel and Chuck turn around to see the buyer is none other than Serena.

"What?" Rachel and Chuck said at the same time.

The two of them got up and head over to Serena.

"S, what are you doing?" Rachel asked.

"What are the two of you doing? Trying to ruin your relationship. I also know that the two of you are trying to ruin my relationship with Carter." Serena said.

"Well, we both lost fair and square." Chuck said before answering his phone.

"Here take the photo. You need it more than me." Serena said.

"Actually, Chuck is right. I don't need the photo more than him. I am giving the photo to Chuck." Rachel said.

Rachel walked over to Chuck and Chuck finished his phone call.

"Chuck, I am giving you the photo. I don't need it anymore; I am letting Carter know to stop looking for my cousin. I believe in you." Rachel said to Chuck before leaving the auction.

The next morning, Chuck asked Rachel to meet him out front of the Empire Hotel.

"Chuck, why are we in front of a hotel?" Rachel asked.

"You gave me a great idea. Because you believe in me." Chuck started.

"Instead, me buying a club, I am buying this hotel." Chuck said looking at Rachel.

"Chuck, are you serious?" Rachel asked Chuck.

"I pulled my shares out of the Bass company and putting all the money into the hotel. Rachel, you believe in me from day one." Chuck said. Rachel kissed Chuck.

"What do you say we christen our new penthouse?" Chuck asked.

Chuck and Rachel crossed the street to the hotel and head up to the penthouse.

"I say you've lost your mind." Rachel said kissing Chuck on the elevator ride up to the new penthouse.
