Bart's Back

Every morning papers were talking about Bart Bass back from the dead. Rachel and Chuck are having breakfast when they saw Nate getting a key for Lola. Chuck asked Nate if he is asking Lola to move in with him. Nate told Chuck and Rachel that he is asking her to move in for the summer. Rachel was heading to London for the first part of her trip and Paris for the second part of the trip. Rachel will be moving back to her penthouse in the fall. Bart came up to see Rachel, Chuck, and Nate and heard the part of a woman's touch and he agreed. Rachel got a text from Kate telling her mother was looking for her.

"Chuck, I have to go but I will see you tonight." Rachel said before kissing him.

"I will see you tonight at the press conference." Chuck said.

Rachel left when her phone went off with a Gossip Girl blast about her. Rachel saw that it was Blair's diary on the topic about Rachel's wedding, helping Rachel with the planning of the wedding, and how she does not love Louis but Chuck instead. Rachel was not happy that Blair said all of that about her. Rachel got a text from Blair asking her to come by right now, but Rachel told Blair that she need to see her mother first. Blair told Rachel that she is waiting for her. Rachel arrived home to see her mother and Kate talking.

"Mother, I didn't know you were in town." Rachel said.

"I got in last night. Kate informed me that she got a place of her own and will be working for Nate Archibald at the Spectator." Victoria said. Rachel knew about her cousin getting her own place and the job at the Spectator.

"Mother, you were looking for me." Rachel said.

"I decided to retire. I am making you the new face and owner of the company. You will be the new owner of R. Lockwood clothing store." Victoria said.

"When do I start?" Rachel asked.

"We will be leaving for London in a week." Victoria said.

"Thank you. I have to go to Blair's now." Rachel said.

Rachel left her penthouse to head to Blair's and Rachel text Chuck with the good news. Chuck text Rachel back saying he is proud of her, and they will celebrate tonight. Rachel arrived at Blair's place and head up to Blair's penthouse. 

"B, I saw the Gossip Girl blast about me in your diary." Rachel said.

"R, I am so sorry for the blast and what I said in my diary." Blair said.

"R, what are you doing here?" Serena asked.

"S, Blair asked me to come." Rachel said.

"B, I forgive you." Rachel said.

"R, you need to know that Serena is the reason why my diary on Gossip Girl." Blair said.

"What?" Rachel said.

"I was Gossip Girl for a little while. The real Gossip Girl took the laptop with the pages of Blair's diary. Gossip Girl said that she was being too nice to the three of us." Serena said.

"S, this low coming from you. You are the reason why I got fired at the Spectator and you posted about the article." Rachel said.

"I want you out now. Pack your things." Blair said.

"S, don't ask to come live with me." Rachel said.

"B, I have to go." Rachel said.

Rachel gave Blair a hug before heading home to get ready for Chuck's press conference. Rachel was home getting ready when a Gossip Girl blast showed Chuck holding a ring in his hand. Rachel thinks Chuck is going to ask Rachel to marry him. Rachel was smiling and then there was another Gossip Girl blast about Blair, Dan, and Nate. Rachel finished getting ready and head out to the press conference.

Rachel arrived at the Empire; Bart was in the middle of his press conference. Rachel watched the conference when Bart announces the news that will shock Rachel and Chuck.

"So, starting today, I will be the only Bass in Bass Industries." Bart announced. Chuck smiled disappeared and Chuck looked over at Rachel who was shocked to hear the news.

Chuck head up to the roof of the Empire and Bart followed Chuck to talk for a little while. Rachel went to talk to Chuck after Bart left.

"Chuck, are you okay?" Rachel asked.

"No, I am not okay. I just lost everything." Chuck said.

"You did not lose everything. You still have me. I love you, Chuck." Rachel said.

"I just need to be alone right now. You can leave me alone for a little while." Chuck said.

Chuck left Rachel on the roof alone and Rachel left the Empire to head home.

A week later

Rachel and her mother are in London when she got a text from Jack Bass about Chuck and him are in Monte Carlo. Rachel got a flight to Monte Carlo to help Chuck with his war with Bart. Rachel heard from the rest of her friends. Blair was in Paris with her mother, Nate is in the city, Dan was in Rome with Georgina, and Serena was MIA. Rachel didn't care that Serena was missing right now. Rachel arrived at the place that Jack told her they were at.

"Is this seat taken?" Rachel asked.

"You can take my seat." Jack said.

"Thank you for texting me." Rachel said to Jack.

"What are you doing here?" Chuck said.

"I would bet against you, but I am all in." Rachel said looking at Chuck the whole time.

Rachel and Chuck head to the room to make love and do it again. Chuck gave Rachel the ring to promise that when he has the company again the two of them will get married. Rachel head back to London before she was heading to Paris for the last part of her trip. Chuck went to get more information.
