Bart's Funeral

It was sad day for the Upper East Side, Bart Bass was killed in a car accident. Rachel head over to Chuck's suite at the Palace to get him for his father's funeral. Rachel and Lily were worried about Chuck, and they found out that he is still alive in his room. Rachel bang on the door more than once and Chuck answer the door. Chuck was ready to go to his father's funeral, and Nate arrived to help Rachel take a drunk Chuck to the limo.

"Chuck, you had to drink before your father's funeral?" Rachel asked.

"It's helps me sorrow my father's death." Chuck said.

"Let me fix your tie before we get to the funeral." Rachel said.

"Chuck, we been trying to get a hold of you for a week now." Nate said. 

"I wanted to be alone."

Rachel phone rang and she answered it.

"Cece, I am with Chuck. We are on our way right now. Okay, Cece. Bye" Rachel said.

"That was Cece." Rachel said.

The driver informed them they arrived at the church. They got out of the limo and Nate and Rachel help Chuck look his best before heading to the church.

"Maybe we should have left him at the Palace." Nate said.

"It's his own father's funeral. He needs to show his respects." Rachel said.

"Respect? My father wasn't showing much of that in his final days."

"What's he talking about?" Nate asked.

"Who knows let's just get him inside." Rachel said helping him down the hill.

They started to get close to the hill, when Chuck saw Dan there. He started running down the hill to Dan.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing here?" Chuck asked really loud.

"Excuse me?" Dan said looking confused at Chuck.

"He's just upset." Rachel said trying to calm Chuck down.

"Now is not the time." Rachel whispered in Chuck's ear.

"What are you doing at my father's funeral?" Chuck asked looking at Dan. "You're think he'd want you here?" Chuck asked Dan grabbing him in the collar.

"Chuck enough." Rachel said.

Dan said something about his father's article and Chuck didn't care about Dan's failed attempt of writing. 

Chuck whispered something into Dan's ear and Rachel and Nate could not here it. Dan tried to apologize to Chuck. Cece, Lily, and Serena came over to stop Chuck.

"Chuck, Dan been helping us unlike you." Serena said annoyed.

"Helping us? Do have any idea what's his family has done?" Chuck said looking over at Serena. 

"Enough Chuck." Rachel said. Cece asked Dan to leave since Chuck was upset with him there.

Nate and Rachel bring Chuck to his seat and Rachel sit down with Nate and Blair the row behind Chuck. They finished the funeral and head to back to Lily's place. 

Rachel and Nate thought it would be best for Chuck to sober up. They got off the elevator and Chuck head to the bar. 

"You love him, don't you?" Nate asked.

"I do but it's complicated." Rachel said to Nate.

"Nate, I am going to leave." Rachel said.

Later that night, Rachel was in bed asleep. Rachel woke up from someone climbing into her bed. It was Chuck who climbed into her bed.

"What are doing here, Chuck?" Rachel asked to Chuck. Chuck laid down on Rachel's bed and he fell asleep. Rachel watched him sleep before she falls asleep herself.

Rachel woke up in her bed alone and where Chuck was, she finds a note instead.

Rachel was worried she lost Chuck forever.
