It's the day that Rachel was looking forward to the most, it was moving day. Rachel decided to move into the dorm to be in the same room as her sister. Chuck decided to help his girlfriend moved into the dorm.
"You know you could stay with me in my suite at the Palace instead of the dorms." Chuck said.
"Chuck, I want to be in the same room with my sister." Rachel said.
"Men, bring my girlfriends stuff in." Chuck said.
Chuck kissed his girlfriend when they heard another person voice speak.
"It's this room 2021?" Rachel's sister said.
"Yes. I am your roommate. I'm Rachel Lockwood and this is my boyfriend, Chuck Bass." Rachel said.
"Nice to meet the both of you. I'm Megan Lewis." Megan said.
"Nice to meet you too." Rachel said.
"Sweetheart, I have to go to a meeting. It was nice to meet you, Megan." Chuck said kissing Rachel.
Rachel started unpacking her things and half an hour later, Rachel finished unpacking. Rachel looks over to see her roommate finished unpacking herself.
"Hey, Megan. Do you want to grab a coffee from the coffee shop down the street?" Rachel asked.
"I would like that." Megan said.
The two of them head over to the coffee shop and when they got there. They place their order and grab a table. A waiter brought their coffees over to them. The two of them started talking.
"Megan, where are you from?" Rachel asked.
"I am from Memphis, TN. My mother came to New York for college, and she told me all about it. When I got into Columbia my mother was thrilled." Megan said.
"So, what about you?" Megan asked.
"I am from the Upper East Side of New York. Both of my parents went here, and I decided to go to the school here. I was accepted into Yale last year, but I decided to go here." Rachel said.
"I heard some of the girls talking about this website called Gossip Girl and should download the app on my phone. Do you know anything about it?" Megan asked.
"I know about Gossip Girl. She been following me, my boyfriend, and my friends since freshman year of high school." Rachel said.
"So, you are on Gossip Girl a lot." Megan said.
Rachel and Megan talked for a little while before Rachel got a text from Chuck.
"Sorry, Megan. Chuck text me asking me to come see him. I have to go."
Rachel left the coffee shop and hail a taxi to Chuck's. Rachel got into the taxi and Carter join her to informed her about the other thing she wanted him to look into.
"Carter, I am on my way to Chuck's." Rachel said.
"I have no new information about your cousin. Why are you trying to find her?" Carter asked.
"She and I used to be close when we were young. She also known about my half-sister for a year." Rachel said.
"When I get more information, I will call you." Carter said before getting out of the taxi.
Rachel arrived at Chuck's and entered the suite.
"Honey, I'm home." Rachel said before dropping her bag out of her hand. Rachel walked into Chuck's office.
"I see you need a distraction." Rachel said sitting down on Chuck's lap and giving him a kiss.
"While that sounds nice, I actually needed your advice on work" Chuck said lightly pushing Rachel off his lap. "I have this idea to buy the old bank and convert the inside of the vault as a speakeasy. Classy restaurant in the front, trashy club in the back." Chuck stayed showing Rachel the layout and designs that had been drafted up.
"Chuck, this looks amazing. Do you have a name?"
"I was hoping you'd like it. That's what I need your help with. I need something edgy but fits the vibe."
"Vague. It has a nice rang to it. It fits perfect to the scene of Manhattan."
"I love it. I have a meeting in thirty minutes with McPherson." Chuck said looking at his wristwatch.
"Good Luck"
"I don't need it but thank you." Chuck said kissing Rachel and leaving the office.
Rachel decided to leave Chuck's suite to head back at the campus. Rachel hails a taxi when she got a phone call from Carter.
"It's looks like one of your father's old assistants is willing to talk about your cousin. You just have to get one thing for the assistant before she talks to you. I am sending the information to your phone right now. Let me know when you have it." Carter said.
"I will let you know Carter." Rachel said.
Rachel told the driver to take her to the auction building. 20 minutes later, Rachel arrived at the auction building.
