One Year

Rachel had avoided Chuck and her friends since Thanksgiving. Megan and Rachel haven't talk to each other since Thanksgiving. Rachel was studying for her final exam for the semester. Rachel took a break and decided to call Chuck.

"Hello" 

"Chuck, I am so sorry for taking my anger out on you on Thanksgiving. I am sorry for avoiding you since Thanksgiving." Rachel said.

"I am sorry too for avoiding you. I been busy with work. What are you doing tonight?" Chuck said.

"I have my final exam of the semester at 4pm and will finished at 7pm. Dinner?" Rachel said.

"It's a date. I will pick you up at 7pm." Chuck said.

Rachel got off the phone with Chuck and she was happy to have him back in her life again. Now Rachel just needs to make-up to Megan. She studies some more before she heard the door open.

"Megan." Rachel said.

"What?" Megan said.

"I am sorry for what happened at Thanksgiving. I just want us to go back the way we were." Rachel said.

"I can't forget about it and tomorrow I am moving out and I am transferring back to a school in TN. Don't ever connect me again." Megan said.

Megan left the dorm room and Rachel lost her sister forever. Rachel decided to go to the library to study. Two hours later, Rachel head to her final exam.

Rachel went in and took her final exam, and three hours later, Rachel finished her final exam. Rachel head outside and put her student id and pencil in her bag and grabbed her cell phone.

Rachel looks up to her phone to see Chuck in front of his limo with Marigolds in his hand, they are his mother's favorite.

"Chuck, they are beautiful." Rachel said kissing him before heading into the limo.

"Dinner, shall we?" Chuck asked.

"Yes." Rachel said.

"Arthur, Le Bernardin" Chuck announced.

"Chuck, I been trying to get into that place for months." Rachel said.

"I know. I called ahead to get us a table. Champagne, steaks, and deserts. We are celebrating tonight." Chuck said seductively kissing Rachel on her lips and neck.

Chuck's phone started to ring but he silents it.

"Phone free tonight" Chuck said dropping his phone on the ground.

Chuck and Rachel smiled at each other before kissing again. Rachel's phone started ringing.

Rachel and Chuck looked annoyed.

"It's Blair let me just answer it quickly. Blair? I am in the middle of something." Rachel said.

Blair sound upset and Blair informed her that Serena was in a car accident. She is in the hospital. 

"Blair, calm down. We'll meet you there?" Rachel said before ending the call. Rachel turned to Chuck to tell him.

"Serena been in a car accident. She in the hospital at Nassau County" Rachel explained.

"Arthur, Nassau County Hospital" Chuck shouted

Rachel and Chuck arrived at the Nassau County Hospital and Rachel run into the hospital. She turned to see Chuck out of the hospital.

"You go ahead. I will join later." Chuck said. Rachel went to look for Serena's room. Rachel arrived at Serena's room.

"S, are you okay?" Rachel asked.

"I am fine, R. Is Chuck here?" Serena asked.

"He is outside. It is the one-year anniversary of Bart's death." Rachel said.

"Go be with him. Everyone is here for Serena." Blair said.

Rachel gave Blair a hug and gave Serena a kiss on the cheek. Rachel walked out of Serena's room to see Chuck on the floor looking upset.

"Hey, Chuck. Are you okay?" Rachel asked.

"I am not okay. I need to do something. Come with me?" Chuck asked.

"Chuck, course I will come." Rachel said.

The two of them got up to leave and head to the limo. Chuck informed Arthur to take them to Bart's grave.

They arrived at Bart's grave and Chuck asked Rachel to wait in the limo. Chuck had another set of Marigolds in his hand. Chuck head outside and in a few minutes later, he came back in the limo with surprise look on his face.

"Chuck, what did you see out there?" Rachel asked.

"It was nothing. Let's go home. Arthur, Empire hotel." Chuck said.

Rachel kissed Chuck and Rachel decided to drop the topic. The two of them head back to the Empire hotel.
