Ch. 22

<Meanwhile at the kingdom of Mobius>

The kingdom of Mobius is as peaceful as ever but they are at war with the cruel Morbius kingdom. For during the whole ordeal, the kingdom is protected by the all mighty Jules The Hedgehog and his youngest son 'who is none other than Sonic'. When a few of the army of Morbius ran away, Sonic said with serious, "Scourge is getting more stubborn to make us fall everyday but we will be the ones who forces him and his kingdom on their knees." Jules chuckled before he said, "It be more easier if you use your power son." Sonic sighed stressfully, rolled his eyes and said, "Father we talked about this since I came back. I given up on speed and did what you wanted me to do. Fight just like you." Jules frowned before he said, "I know. Look Sonic don't you think your putting too much pressure on yourself?" Sonic took a deep breath and said to Jules, "Father. I'm fine. So still haven't found the perfect husband for my sister?" Jules replied, "Still no volunteers. But you do know once your sister is married off to another kingdom it will mean you will run this kingdom which means your mother and I will find you a bride." Sonic then said while looking at the sky, "Yes father. Ya know something? I actually am glad I decided to return here. Felt like it was yesterday I came back." Jules looked at the sky and replied, "Yeah. Felt like it has been."

<11 months earlier.>

Sonic felt heartache while he was still at the beach shack. But then he sped to Blue-force 1 and rode through the village and to the woods while crying in sorrow. Though he didn't pay attention to where he was going. At least until he look to see he was going to hit a tree near a lake. Sonic jumped in time before blue-force 1 crashed. The blue hedgehog heavily breathed before getting up and speeding off across the boarder line before tripping on something and laying on the ground. As if things weren't bad enough, it started to rain a bit when Sonic crawled to a tree and leaned on it while crying. He said to himself, "Nobody cares if I'm gone anyway." Thats when a few familiar figures walked into view as one of them said, "So why are we here? Can't we just wait until Christmas??" A familiar female voice said, "Well I just miss my fast little boy and I wanna surprise him." A male voice said, "The young lord will be pleased to see you malady." Half of the  villagers were walking to Sonic with annoyed looks on their faces cause they don't even know why he was riding through town. But that's familiar female figure then rushed to him and gasped. She asked, "Sonic? Oh my gosh." The mayor then said, "Will you keep it down Sonic? Your annoying behavior is bad enough." Thats when one of the figures slapped the mayor in the face and said, "Is that how you guys see him? How rude." The familiar figure kneeled down and said, "Oh my. What happened to you? My precious fast little boy." Sonic looked to see who it is in tears and asked, "M-mother?" It was indeed Sonics mother Queen Aleena 'who wanted to surprise her youngest child but was more bad than she expected'. It aches Aleena's heart seeing either one of her children this broken. One of the villagers said in shock, "T-That's the Queen and that means..." the villagers present were shocked at this. Sonic stood up and said as he hugged his mother, "It was horrible. I don't belong here." Aleena hugged her child back. The old monkey said rudely, "Oh come on that humiliation he had coming he kept saying he's better than the re..." Bastion the butler said as he hit him in the head, "How dare you say such lies about the young lord?! He is the youngest child of her majesty! I am appalled that you all think little of him!" Sonic then whimpered and said, "Mother please. I wanna go home with you. I can't take it anymore. Please." Aleena sighs sadly and said, "Honey. Okay if you wanna go home with me then I won't change your mind. Ssssshhh." She calmed down Sonic before she called for one of the maids and said, "Petunia? Please take him to the boat." Petunia the Chipmunk said as she took the injured and heartbroken prince, "Right away. Come on young lord we'll get you cleaned up." She walked off with Sonic as Aleena was not to happy at what they did. Aleena said angrily, "That is so cruel. You laughed at my child and humiliated him? I am disappointed in you that means you to Fink. I expected better from you." Mayor Fink was embarrassed before he said, "I-I am sorry your ladyship. I-I.." Bastion then said, "He ain't coming back." Once that was said Aleena and Bastion walked off.
