Bucky Barnes

I'm sitting in my cell with my back against the cold wall.

All I can remember is pain, nothing else. I don't know if I ever had a life before this but even if I try with all my strength to remember, the only thing that I see is this neverending pain.

All I know is that I am the Winter Soldier and I'm an Hydra assassin. I follow the orders they give me, it's like what I'm meant to do.

I lean my head back on the wall of my cell trying to get back to reality and close my eyes.

Suddenly I hear a loud crash not too far from my cell. A bunch of Hydra agents start running probably going where the crash was caused.

One of them stops in front of my cell and opens it.

"Get out", he orders.

I do as he says and stand up. I start walking towards him.

"Find the girl and kill her", he says before walking in the direction of the crash.

I follow them right after but I decide to stay a bit far. I let them get in the principal hallway and as they get inside I start hearing multiple gunshots then it all goes silent.

I start walking closer to the hallway but I stop as I hear some footsteps. It's only one person and it must be the girl, my target. She probably killed all of them.

I wait for her to get close enough to me and as I see her getting only a bit out of the hallway I start rushing towards her.

She quickly turns around but I kick the gun that she was holding out of her hands making it fall on the ground, away from her.

I go to punch her on her face but she dodges the punch. I try again, now on her abdomen but she manages to dodge it again.

Before I even realize what is happening she wraps her legs around my neck and makes me fall on the ground.

I have to admit that I didn't expect her to be this skilled.

I quickly turn around ready to stand up again but I find a gun pointed on my head. She's holding it with only one hand.

While fighting I didn't have the time to see her clearly but now that she's standing right in front of me I can't help but think that she's familiar in some sort of way to me.

Her dark brown hair are wrapped in a braid and her brown eyes are locked with mine. I can see what seems to be 'hope' inside them but she remains still with her gun on my temple.

She's wearing a dark combat suit and on her waist there's a belt with a black Black Widow symbol.

I slowly start to stand and she follows every movement with her gun.

I furrow my brows as I look in her dark eyes. I've seen her before.

I know her.

I watch as she gets closer to me with her gun still raised.

But instead of pulling the trigger she takes my metal hand.

She slowly takes down the hand where she has her gun and places the weapon on my hand.

I look back up meeting her gaze and notice that she didn't move her eyes from me the whole time.

I furrow my brows once again. 'What the hell is she doing?' I think as she begins to move my metal hand, that now is holding her gun, to her temple.

She moves her hand on the higher part of the gun with her eyes still locked with mine.

I hear a click as she charges the gun. 'Wait, it wasn't charged before' I think confused.

"Do it, complete your mission and kill me", she says. She seems sad as if she's trying to hold back her tears but she still doesn't loose her composure.

I look at the gun that I'm holding and then back in her familiar eyes before fixing my posture and pressing the gun tighter on her forehead.

I watch as she closes her eyes, ready for me to pull the trigger. But suddenly a flash of memories makes it's way through my man. I start remembering everything, I start remembering her.

Everything we've been through together at Hydra, the bad times and the good times.

I remember fearing for her, but mostly loving her.

My eyes start to water as I look at Cameron. God, I've missed her so much.

We promised not to search for each other, no matter what, but I knew that she was gonna come for me even if I hoped for her to stay safe.

I take a deep breath before taking the bullets off the gun and making them fall on the ground.

She flinches a bit as they hit the ground but when she realizes what I did she slowly starts to open her eyes.

She locks her darl brown eyes with mine as a sad smile starts growing on her face.

We both just want to hug each other as tight as we can but we don't even have the chance to move as the rest of the Hydra agents in the facility start surrounding us.

They start shouting at us as they get closer while pointing their guns at both of us.

When they get close enough they start chaining us and making us fall on our knees.

I don't move my eyes from hers as the agents drag her out of the room.

We both know what's about to happen and we both know that we aren't ready.

I watch has she's dragged out the room before looking down. The rest of the agents start bringing me to a dark hallway.

As I walk I realize where we're heading and I widen my eyes.

The nightmare is about to begin.
