The group arrived at the airport after a long drive, and Drew and Brooklynn stepped out of the truck. Drew went to the back, lowering the tailgate and began pulling her suitcases out. He took the two biggest ones, while Brooklynn was left to carry the smallest bag and her carryon. They walked towards the rest of the group, where Aldrich and one of the warriors were beginning to load all the bags into the plane. There was a private jet, and Brooklynn didn't even want to think about how much Aldrich had spent to book it. There was another plane, not as large as the ones she usually saw, but big enough to hold the handful of warriors who were accompanying them.

Drew took the suitcase she carried from her, somehow carrying all three over to Aldrich. They laughed at something Aldrich said, loading the bags into the jet, before turning back to the girls. Aldrich went and stood by Nicole and their daughter, addressing them all. "Alright, everyone ready?"

They all nodded, Nicole standing back with Brooklynn and Andy, who were still in shock that they were taking a private jet. "You've never flown before?"

Andy nodded. "Yeah, just never in a private jet."

Nicole giggled, placing a gentle had on both their backs. "You're gonna love it, trust me."

Brooklynn and Andy let her lead them into the jet, the two looking around the spacious aircraft as they entered. It was luxurious, that was for sure. It had a couch, tv, and regular seats with tables to sit in. Brooklynn mumbled, "Wow." as they looked around. Andy immediately went and plopped on the couch, laughing in amazement. "Fuck Michael Waters. I wanna be a Branson."

Aldrich laughed at the younger girl, rolling his eyes. "You're family now, so technically you are. You can thank your sister for that."

"Thank you, BooBoo!" she cried out, slapping Brooklynn's leg as she walked by her. "You're the best big sister in the world."

Brooklynn rolled her eyes, thumping her on the nose, before making her way to the back of the plane. "Don't call me that, you know I hate it. And you're welcome."

"BooBoo?" Drew asked, his eyebrow raised and teasing smile on his face.

"It's a nickname. She couldn't say Brooklynn when she was little, so she called me BooBoo." she explained, taking a seat at one of the tables. "Don't start calling me that. I'll revoke my acceptance." she playfully threatened.

Drew laughed, sitting across from her. "No promises, Love."

Nicole and Everleigh took a seat at the table bedside there's, the baby's eyes drooping as she fought sleep. "Once we get in the air, Aldrich and I are gonna take Everleigh into the bedroom. It's about her bedtime."

"There's a freaking bedroom on this thing?!" called Andy, who had hurriedly sat up from the couch. "Holy shit, that's awesome!"

Nicole giggled and laughed. "There's a cot in there if you want a nap. You won't bother us, just try to keep quiet and don't wake the baby."

Andy smiled and nodded. "Thank you. You're sure I won't be a bother, though?"

"Of course not. Just a warning though, Aldrich snores." she joked, winking playfully at her.

The group fell into a comfortable silence as the pilots voice rang through the jet, letting them know they were taking off. Andy moved to a seat, all of them buckling up as the jet began to move. It only took a few minutes, and they were in the air. Nicole and Aldrich stood, Everleigh's soft snores filling the quiet room. "We'll see you in a few hours. Brooklynn, if you need to use the bathroom or anything, Drew knows where it is. Just ask." Nicole said.

Brooklynn nodded, smiling thankfully at her. "Okay, thanks. You guys nap well."

They nodded, walking to the very back of the jet, Andy, who was exhausted from the events of the day, following. Brooklynn unbuckled, standing from the table and making her way to the couch. She sat down, turning the tv on and scrolling through the channels. Drew remained where he was, looking through his phone. Brooklynn found a movie, turning it on before looming back at Drew. "Come watch this with me?" she asked, watching him look up from his phone at her. He nodded, standing and making his way over to the couch.

He sat beside her, pulling her legs up to rest in his lap. He slid his hand under the leg of her sweatpants, rubbing her leg. She settled down into the couch, turning on her side to watch the movie more comfortably. "So..where are Andy and I staying once we get to Nightshade?" she asked, her eyes not leaving the tv.

Drew hadn't really thought about it, so the question took him off guard. "Umm.. I mean... where do you two want to stay?"

Brooklynn looked at him, a small smile on her face. "You are nothing like most alpha born men I've met." she said, with a small giggle. "It's not a bad thing. I'm just saying."

Drew chuckled, squeezing her calf gently. "Sorry, I just... I hadn't really thought of it. And what do you mean?"

"It's just that, most of the alpha sons I've met are...intense. Like, if they were my mate, I wouldn't have any choice in anything. It's kind of refreshing having a say I'm things."

Drew smiled at her, leaning back against the couch. He gave her a serious look, his eyes shining with adoration."I don't want to make you do something you don't want to do. I lived as a prisoner for twenty years, no one deserves that. So, if you wanna stay at my house, you're welcome to. If you'd be more comfortable at Nicole and Aldrich's, you and Andy can have my old room until other arrangements can be made. It's just up to you."

Brooklynn felt her eyes prick at his words. She sat up, scooting closer to him and resting her head on his shoulder. Her eyes remained on the tv as his hand rested on her thigh, rubbing soothing circles. "I'd love to stay at your house. As for Andy, I think she'll be okay at Nicole and Aldrich's, if that's what they had already planned on doing. She seems to like them a lot anyways."

Drew looked down at her, raising his arm and wrapping it around her. She leaned more into him, their eyes meeting as she peered up at him. He gave her a small smile, his hand that was around her reaching up to stroke her cheek. She gave him a smile back, leaning up to softly press her lips against his.

The kiss was soft, neither one wanting to rush it. Drew took a moment, but he slowly started moving his lips back, his hand guiding her closer to him. After a moment, they both pulled away, Brooklynn resting her forehead against his. "You're a really great person, you know that, right?" she mumbled.

"I try to be." he mumbled back, lazily stroking her cheek.

Brooklynn smiled, pressing another soft and quick kiss to his lips.
