This chapter is kinda all over the place, since everything is happening all that once, just from different points of view. I'm sorry if it's hard to follow along. Just read it carefully, and it should be okay. Thanks! You'll understand as you read!

Pain. Hot, searing pain. It spread like a wildfire over her skin, lighting it up unlike anything she had felt before. She tried to move away from from the source of the fire, thrashing her body as her skin only seemed to burn hotter. She still continued to fight though, unable to tell why she couldn't get away. It was then that she was vaguely aware of multiple sets of hands on her skin. She could feel a pair of hands on her legs, a pair on her stomach, and a final pair on her arms. She didn't understand why these hands were holding her. Couldn't they tell she was trying to get away?

Then, she heard screaming. It was quiet, barely there, but the sounds would haunt her. They didn't stop, only when the poor person had to take a sharp intake of breath. She wondered why the hands were holding her down, instead of going to the source of the screams. Then, she realized, the screams belonged to her.

Next, she tasted something. It was barely there, as were the screams and hands touching her, but she could still tell it was there. Just barely.

She then could smell something, and it smelt like the familiar scent of blood. She couldn't tell where it was coming from, just that it was there.

She tried to open her eyes, but it was like they were glued shut. All her other senses where there, just barely. But at least she was somewhat aware. She fought, trying to force her eyes open, her eyes moving back and forth frantically as she tried to get her eyelids to open. She couldn't though....

Suddenly, it was like something within her had clicked, like a light switch. Her eyes opened wide, but she was met with nothing. There was no light, just utter nothing. She could no
longer move her eyes, it was like they were stuck in place. She had stilled, the heat in her body slowly leaving, and the hands that were once on her were no longer there. She couldn't smell anymore, and the taste that had been on her tongue slowly began to fade away too. She felt herself drifting into the nothingness, her eyes slowly beginning to close back, no matter how hard she tried to keep them open.

Then, the hands were back on her body, and something cold hit her all at once. The fire had come back though, and it was searing, burning her from the inside out. She gasped for air, feeling it rush into her lungs. She heard herself screaming again, the smell of blood filling her nose, and the unfamiliar taste back on her tongue. But as quickly as it came, it all went away.

This happened a few times. Her senses would come back to her, only to slowly disappear into nothing. Her mind couldn't focus on anything but the sensations. And yet, she wasn't scared. She invited them with open arms, begging them to come back to her. And finally, they did.

Her eyes burst open again, but this time, she was met with light. It wasn't a natural light, it was something else. It was brighter than any natural light she had seen, like she was staring at the sun, only ten times brighter.

She then felt like she was falling, and she shut her eyes shut, a shrill scream tearing through her throat. It didn't stop, not until her lungs were depleted of air, and her throat was left raw and sore. She took a deep breath, as images began flashing in front of her eyes.

Bloodshed, fire, loss, death.

All these things flashed before her. She couldn't make sense of the images, only that they would be described with those words. It was awful, and she felt a sinking feeling in her gut.

Then, a new set of images flashed. Like before, she couldn't make out what exactly they were. But they were definitely different than the ones before.

Surrender, peace, love, unity.
