Kingdom Outing Chap.6

A Day later....

Cyno had Invited you to come with him for an outing, as to talk more and see the city, you thought the outing was a great Idea though your Father was a little skeptical, and so Cyno promised him to bring along two guards to make sure you were extra safe, In your mind you thought your father was worrying too much, but you were his youngest daughter and the Princess so you had to be careful, you were excited to be going Into the city as you weren't allowed to leave the palace much before, and the number of thieves had gone up recently 

It was after lunch and you went to go freshen up, changing Into an Icy blue dress with silvery embroidery and sheer sleeves, Maharet fixed your hair up before she stepped back 

she smiled, nudging your shoulder "have fun with the General my lady"

you blushed and smiled a bit, you then stood up from your vanity stool and slipped on your shoes, leaving your bedroom as you walked down the hallways, you went to tell your parents of your leave before you headed outside of the palace, and Cyno was dressed a little differently

you blushed a bit, he wasn't wearing the hood with ears and had his own hair tied back,

he turned to you, bowing his head "shall we depart then"

you nodded, "mhm"

you then started down the stairs of the palace, walking as Cyno was not too far behind but then you tripped up on your shoe, gasping as you started to fall forward, but Cyno rushed and swiftly caught you with his arms around you, you found yourself against his chest and you blushed 

Cyno looked down at you, "are you alright?"

"y...yes thank you General"

Cyno helped you back onto your feet, before you fixed up your appearance and continued down the stairs until you reached the carriage, the driver opened the door for you and you got into the carriage before Cyno sat down next to you, the driver closed the door before he went to the front and set the horse off, you brushed off your dress as you looked out the window, a pleasant smile coming to your face, and Cyno saw this which made a smile come to his own, 

"have you ever been to the city before?" he asked

you turned, "I used to when I'd go to play with Nilou when younger, but as I became older my parents wanted me to stay more In the palace"

Cyno nodded, "I see, It makes sense their Majesties wish for you to be safe"

"I understand that, but I feel I don't have to worry about my safety"

Cyno was surprised, "and why is that?"

you smiled, "because, you're here General and I know you'd make good of your promises"

Cyno blushed, before he cleared his throat "I'm honored Princess"

the carriage continued on It's way to the city, and after five minutes you soon arrived, the carriage soon came to a stop and many of the citizens started to marvel, Cyno got out the carriage before he held his hand up to you, you placed your hand in his as you stepped down

the two guards then followed closely behind as you started to walk around, you looked around with a sense of awe, just as a few passersby's came to give their respects,

you smiled, walking over as you brought them each up from their bows "please rise,"

Women # 1 "Princess, please allow me to congratulate you and General Mahamatra"

"Thank you" you replied

just then a few little girls came over, they presented you with a few Sumeru Roses,
