A Few Days Later....

Cyno had soon received your reply to his letter and it made him relieved to know you were well, and It made him feel more strength to push on as he led the royal army day by day, and by the war reports that kept coming In It seemed that victory was in sight for Sumeru Kingdom, but Prince Ajax was very cunning as well as sneaky and he plotted to use a trump card, 

In the desert the war waged on, Cyno rode his horse as he struck down several Snezhnaya soldiers with his polearm, spinning It swiftly as he then leapt off his horse to cut more of them down with him landing on the sand, but then from behind one of the Snezhnaya soldiers took a swipe at his arm from behind and Cyno quickly turned around, blood dripped from his cut as he then countered the soldier's sword while he swiftly held to his shield, pushing him backwards as he used his shield which made the soldier grit his teeth, but then Cyno was struck from behind by another one and he quickly maneuvered to strike down the first one

and In the distance he caught Prince Ajax In his sights, his eyes narrowed but then he brought his attention back to his assailant who kept swinging at him, but Cyno slashed his chest as he then dropped to the ground before Cyno started running forward with his sights set on Ajax, though he was soon met by the soldiers who rushed to protect their Prince, but Cyno made his way through them quickly as he was a few feet away from Ajax 

Ajax mockingly bowed, "So, we finally meet General Mahamatra I must say It's a honor"

Cyno clenched his polearm, "silence, you coward"

Ajax's blue eyes narrowed, "Coward? is that what I am"

he then unsheathed his sword, and Cyno noticed he was without a shield which in a way showed that he was cocky about himself, Ajax rotated his sword as he and Cyno started to walk around as they kept their guards up on who'd attack first, but then Prince Ajax disappeared In a flash and this made Cyno taken aback but he didn't lower his guard as he then quickly turned, clashing his polearm with the sword, looking at Ajax from the corner of his eye 

 "The stories about you weren't a lie It seems," said Ajax

Cyno pushed him back, before he kicked him In the gut which made him clench his stomach, Ajax panted before he advanced on Cyno once more as they clashed over and over again, landing blos on each other by use of their combat skills, from afar Al Haitham looked on as he watched Cyno battle against Ajax and he wouldn't interfere, 

their battle went on for a longtime but I finally seemed as though they were both slowing, Cyno lunged forward as he slashed his shoulder, which made Ajax stumbled backwards a little bit as he clutched his now bleeding shoulder, and Cyno wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth as he'd gotten punched by him before, he took In a few breaths as he then rushed forward with Ajax doing the same as he went for Cyno's head, but Cyno ducked as he then used his polearm to knock him off his feet In which he'd barely missed, so Ajax fell to the hot sand with a thud as Cyno panted while charging ahead while he let out a battle cry, but Ajax quickly got back up

*Crack*

you looked down to see the cup in your hands had cracked, in which It made you furrow your brows as you wondered how that happened, just as Nisha rushed over 

"Princess are you alright?!"

you nodded, and quickly put it down "yes, but that was odd...these cups are supposed to be sturdy even if you drop one"

all of a sudden you looked outside to the balcony and to the distance, feeling a strange sense of anxiety come over you as you rose onto your feet 

"Princess? Princess are you alright?"

you gazed into the distance, but then upon feeling Nisha touch your shoulder you came back

"hm? yes I believe so,"

you then looked to the sky seeing that the clouds above had become dark, and you guessed it would soon storm.
