A New Home Chap.16

The Next morning....

You and Cyno had gotten up and ready for the day, now watching as your things were being taken out of the palace and to the waiting carriage, you went to help the maids as they put a chest of your clothing onto the back, just as your parents came outside to see you off 

Cyno turned and bowed, "Father-in-Law, Mother-In-law"

"Please be at ease Cyno dear, would you get (Y/n) for us," said your mother 

Cyno nodded and he walked over to you, touching your back "My Love, Mother and Father crave a word with you"

you turned, "oh"

you walked over to your parents as you then hugged them, and they hugged you back while you felt yourself starting to tear up while embracing them a bit longer, before they released you 

Queen Devika took your hands, "If you need anything please let us know, Take care of yourself and do visit when you can"

you smiled, "I will"

King Xavier touched your head, giving It a little rub before he pressed a kiss to your forehead, your father then beckoned Cyno to come over, and he gave him a firm pat on the shoulder 

"Take care of yourself and my daughter, keep your vows"

Cyno bowed his head, "I always will Sir"

 King Xavier nodded, "good man"

he then let him go and your mother gave Cyno a motherly touch on the cheek, 

"Be well, please continue to cherish our daughter"

"I will"

your parents looked to you both, you then turned to Cyno and he gave you a smile of reassurance, you returned the smile as you hugged him before you locked hands and walked to the carriage together, getting inside as Maharet caught up with you both, but first she turned bowing low to your parents before she too got into the carriage, sitting across from you both

and you looked out the window as the carriage started away, and your parents waved to you as you went, It was a little hard to leave but you were excited to start your new life together with Cyno, the carriage drove further and further away from the palace as your parents looked on with heavy hearts, they knew this wasn't goodbye forever but it was hard to let go 

Cyno touched your hand, "are you alright"

you held his back, "yes, it's just I'll be living somewhere new when the palace Is all I've ever known,"

"I understand"

you smiled turning to him more, "but I'm happy to be starting this journey with you"

Cyno smiled with a nod, and he brought your hand up to his lips pressing a kiss there.
