It was nearing the ninth month as well as your due date, and this made Cyno stay on alert more than usual In case something happened, like you going into labor or something that shouldn't be happening but he was being cautious as well as worried, worried about you and the baby but you assured him that everything would be alright, the cradle that you had made for the child had come It was made of wood and was like a swing with cushioning inside of It, 

your mother had come to visit you the other day as you were no longer mobile to travel, you were surprised by the suddenness of her visit, but you were nonetheless happy to see her and she stayed with you for a whole day as to help take care of you before returning soon, but she also told you that Candace was on her way to Sumeru along with Akpan,

you were resting in your room at the moment, you didn't dress up like usual today as It was getting a little burdensome so you dressed a little more casually, you were in all white today wearing a Bralette top and skirt with only one of your necklaces and of course your ring. 

just as you moved to go have a look at the cradle Cyno entered the room, you turned with a smile as you saw him come over to you, and once at your side he hugged you from behind bringing his hands onto your exposed stomach and he kissed the back of your neck 

"are you feeling alright?" he asked

you nodded, and leaned into his touch "mhm, but I am a little tired"

Cyno looked over your shoulder and at the cradle, "It's nice, the craftsmanship is great"

you smiled with a nod, and then bent down a little as you moved the swing a little bit,

"two weeks from now we'll be able to hold our child" you said

Cyno gave a gentle smile, "Yeah"

you then realized, "dear, what about names?"

Cyno started thinking, "Names...right, there's a little time left but I'm sure the right names will come to us soon"

you moved your hand up his arm, but then you looked as you saw a newer wound

"Is this new?"

Cyno nodded, "It is, it was only a minor scratch don't worry"

you turned around to face him, touching the scar with a worried expression but he assured you again that he was fine, you pressed a kiss to his cheek before you shared a kiss 

and when you parted Cyno let out a breath, "I'm sorry my love"

"For what?"

he looked down, "I know I couldn't help it at the time, but I'm sorry I left you to believe that I was dead"

you touched his cheek, "you couldn't help it...It seemed that way from both sides, but you were badly injured and had to heal as well as build up your strength again, I understand it...but before when I heard the news...It was like a hole in my heart I didn't know what to do"

Cyno sighed, "you're right, and in the time I was healing in Aaru Village I felt as if I failed the kingdom, my in laws but most of all you..."

you shook your head, feeling yourself start to tear up "That's not true, you didn't fail at all...you gave everything you had at that time"

he brought your hand to his lips and kissed It, "It felt like it though...but I survived, and I finished the battle now the war's long over and we're at peace."

you nodded at his words, but then he caressed your cheek as you hugged him again and he held you as you rested your head on his shoulder, but then he gently picked you up bridal style and carried you over to the bed with him then laying you down carefully

you shared another kiss, before he placed some butterfly kisses on your neck which made you giggle but then he sat up a little bit, and he then rested his head on your stomach carefully but then he sat back up as there came a jerk from inside of you 

Cyno smiled, "I felt him, he has a strong kick"

he rubbed your stomach before he pressed some kisses onto the skin, and you closed your eyes as you started relaxed while feeling sleepy but you didn't really want to sleep, 

Cyno then came back up to your side, and brought his arm around you as you cuddled together 

"I love you...so very much" he said

you smiled warmly, "I love you just the same"

Cyno kissed your forehead and you leaned into his touch more, and he closed his eyes as you stayed In each other's arms.

Hello everyone, I hope you've been enjoying the story so far, I came to say that the birth will take place In the next chapter and a lot of things will happen but that's all I can say for now but still hold on for the ride.
