Broken Heart and Visits Chap.27

soon after that Maharet and Nisha took you back to your room, and they changed you into something not soaked as they put you into your bed, and for the next few hours you didn't wake up until It was near midnight and you woke up in a panic, but they calmed you down until you remembered what happened earlier and you broke down once again, It saddened them greatly but they didn't know what more to do for you except try to calm you down, Candace came to stay at your side as you sobbed into her lap until you eventually cried yourself to sleep

and in the morning you refused to leave the bed, but Candace convinced you to at least have a nice warm bath so you wouldn't get sick from last night, so you did but all the while you stared at the water while Maharet helped you to wash up, and a few tears fell into the water 

you then sniffled as you covered your face with your hands, "Why did this happen..."

Maharet gave a sigh, "I...I don't know my lady but things happen that are out of our control...even the control of the gods"

you let out sigh as you then hugged yourself, as your eyes then wondered to your wedding ring as It's mirror like surface shined, more tears streamed down your cheeks before they dripped, and after the bath Maharet helped you get dressed like usual but you didn't say a thing

Nisha pulled your hair back and braided It but then when she was finished, she started to put your tiara on you but you motioned for her to stop, and so she put it back down on the table

"I wish to be alone right now" you said quietly 

"But Breakfast is already prepared Princess," said Nisha

you shook your head, Nisha and Maharet looked to each other but then bowed their heads before they left your bedroom and you rose to your feet, going outside onto the balcony as you placed your hands on the stone rails just as the wind blew, you looked to the horizon as the sky was still cloudy so you couldn't see the sun at all, you couldn't see the sunrise 

you bent over as you rested your forehead on the stone, outside of your room Nisha and Maharet went to report to your mother on how you were doing In which she expected, 

"I understand...she's deep in her grief right now, please do keep an eye on her and try to bring her some food after a while" 

Queen Devika looked outside, "also, have her go to the palace temple It may help bring her some Comfort If she's close to Lesser Lord Kusanali..."

Maharet bowed, "alright"

she then started away and nudged Nisha to come along too as they left the room, 

Nisha sighed, "It's so awful..."

Maharet nodded, "It is, I feel terrible for the princess...I thought I heard Prince Ajax was rushed away to be treated for his wounds apparently"

"Who cares about his wellbeing, he killed her highness's husband," said Nisha

Maharet gave her a look and she stopped, but then they saw a familiar figure rushing over

Maharet was surprised, "Lady Nilou?"

Nilou came up to them and stopped, "yes, where's (Y/n)? I came here as soon as I heard the news this morning...it's so awful"

Nisha gestured, "she's In her chambers right now,"

Nilou nodded and wiped a tear "Thank you"

Nilou then picked up her skirts once more as she started in the direction of your room, and once there she lightly rapped on the door, "(Y/n), It's Nilou"

Inside you heard her voice, and you let out a sigh "Enter"

Nilou opened the door and ran over to you as she hugged you "I'm so sorry!"

you slowly hugged her back, but then you felt everything crumble in again as you started crying and Nilou rubbed your back as you did so, with her too starting to cry

"I never expected that this would happen...oh (Y/n) I'm so sorry"

you sniffled, "Nilou...he promised that he'd return...he promised..."

Nilou parted from you a little, taking out her white handkerchief as she wiped your cheeks dry 

she sighed, "It's terrible...General Mahamatra was a good man"

you then started coughing all of a sudden, and Nilou patted your back but then she had an Intuition so she felt your forehead and to her shock you were burning up 

"(Y/n) we have to get you in bed you're burning up,"

you started "I'm fine..."

she helped you over to the bed, but then you furrowed your brows as you felt a sick feeling come over you, and you pushed Nilou away from you but this time you vomited 

Nilou gasped, "what's wrong!"

she then called for Nisha and Maharet to come, and they rushed into the room as you were hunched over now on the floor as you got sick.
