A Week later...

You'd healed well after your labor and were now able to get up and about, but your husband helped you during those days when you couldn't get up, and he'd even tried his hand at cooking sometimes for you despite him saying his cooking wasn't that good, but you thought It was and appreciated his great care, It had been a week since you'd given birth but It seemed Chakir and Ahmanet were growing up as they were bigger than when they were born, your parents took delight In being grandparents now and your mother adored the twins, spoiling them whenever she could and just being a loving grandmother, the kingdom celebrated with the birth of your twins and thought of It as a great blessing from Lesser Lord Kusanali

you were currently outside sitting with Nilou, she'd come to pay you and the twins a visit 

Nilou held Chakir up, "smile little one, smile for me"

Chakir gave what looked lik a smile, before Nilou cradled him as she smiled in delight 

"they're so beautiful, and the names are lovely too" she said

you smiled, "Thank you, Cyno thought of Ahmanet's"

Nilou then tickled his stomach, but then It made him start crying In which Nilou apologized for but you assured her It was alright, you soothed Chakir as Nilou played with Ahmanet 

"Where's his highness?" 

you started, "Cyno's having a meeting with the kingdom's Minister of War...he said something about planning if Snezhnaya will take the chance to attack In an act of revenge"

"I see, it's scary to think about Isn't It"

you shook your head, "No, I believe they're wise enough to not plot anything right now...after all their Prince was heavily Injured and their armies scattered"

you rubbed Chakir's back, "I try to not think of these things anymore"

Nilou nodded, "I understand"

Nilou smiled as she baby talked to Ahmanet, who could only cock her head In confusion but then she broke into a gummy smile before trying to suck on Nilou's finger

"Has the Grand Princess returned back to Natlan?"

you nodded, "yes, Candace actually left the day before"

Nilou held onto Ahmanet as she kept her from biting on her finger, "You look the same as before, It seems you took the pregnancy well"

you sighed, "That's not entirely true, I had difficult nights sometimes but Cyno was there to comfort me"

Nilou smiled, "You and his highness are a wonderful pair"

you smiled as you lightly caressed Chakir's cheek, but then he started to fuss and with Ahmanet doing the same so you guessed it was that time of day for you to feed the, you beckoned Maharet to bring your shawl and you put it over your frontside as started to breast feed him first, all the while Nilou hummed as she lightly bounced Ahmanet 

you soon finished feed Chakir and wiped his mouth with your finger, before you rubbed his back while giving It some gentle pats so he could relieve himself with a burp, you then fed Ahmanet too before you held them both within your arms as they started getting sleepy

just then Nisha came with some refreshment for the both of you, just as you looked out in the distance as the clouds were covering the sun at the moment, so It had a bit of gray hue to the sky but even so It was bright but for some reason you started having a feeling In the back of your mind, but you told yourself It was nonsensical as everything was peaceful now.
